On Wednesday, the last 4 players out of 110 entries returned to Dusk Till Dawn in Nottingham to play the final day of the partypokerLIVE £10k High Roller. Czech Republic's Vojtech Ruzicka and Poland's Bartlomiej Machon started with the biggest stacks and it didn't take all that long until they were heads-up.

The two pros agreed to a deal that left the trophy and £50,000 to play for. The 1-on-1 battle then lasted for more than 2,5 hours. In the final hand, Machon moved all-in for 3.84 million with ASpade7Diamond and was called by big chip leader Vojtech with KSpade4Club. The board rolled out KClub6Diamond3Spade7Club10Club, which meant that Machon was eliminated in second place and Ruzicka had won yet another major poker tournament title!

Payouts:

1 Vojtech Ruzicka £284,210*
2. Bartlomiej Machon £220,790*
3. Tom Hall £142,000
4. Chris Backhouse £110,000
5. Joao Simao £85,000
6. Jason Wheeler £65,000
7. Laszlo Bujtas £50,000
8. Stefan Schillhabel £40,000
9. Daniel Merrilees £30,000
10. Oliver Waters £20,000

A massive well done to Vojtech Ruzicka! I remember Vojtech pulling off a big bluff at the final table of the 2016 WSOP main event.
I am very much looking forward to watching the replay of this tournament.

nice nice, calling all-in from a short stack with K4 off, at least not with 26 off. not saying this is a massive nonsense, since i have no idea about the ranges in hu poker... cannot say this is a hell of a bankroll booster either, 30x is a nice increase but it really looked like a 10 tables sng with the difference that the buy-in was "a bit" higher than ususal

It was nice to see that not ever the same players playing in the HU's. And in this Highroller event we saw two good poker pros with a good deal for bot i think. This PartyPoker event are verry nice and perhaps we see a mobsters at the final table in the near future Blink

For two and a half hours the battle was going on ... it's impressive ... and the hand last too is quite interesting ... to play so much time and go allin with some ridiculous card ... it's more like they were just tired and decided to solve everything quickly

For the buy in they had it was a good prize for all the ones that got paid.
And it must have been a relatively easy tournament, in terms of participants
to reach the money.
What a call with K4 off suit, there.

It just happens that almost every big tournament ending with some ridiculously underwhelming hand and board, innit? Big Smile Blink

Many congratulations to Vojtech Ruzicka on winning this high roller event and the first prize of £284,210. This was a real war of attrition and he fully deserves every penny of his win
