2017 WSOP: Thomas Cannuli wins $3,333 Online High Roller No-Limit Hold’em

On the wee hours of Sunday, July 2, Thomas ‘FLOATZ' Cannuli bagged Event #61, the inaugural $3,333 Big Grind Online, also known as the WSOP.com Online High Roller No-Limit Hold'em tournament, a one-day unlimited re-entry event which was scheduled last Saturday, July 1, 2017 at 3:33pm.

The 25-year-old from New Jersey defeated a field of 424 players (320 unique with 104 rebuys), for which he claimed his first ever WSOP gold bracelet along with a top cash prize of $322,815.

Cannuli's victory also represents his second highest score so far, with his biggest win coming from the 2015 WSOP after making it to the $10k Main Event final table and finished in 6th place for a massive payout of $1,426,283. That time after he was eliminated, he said, "It's not easy. It comes from playing for seven years, seeing the guys who lose $40k pots in a cash game and say nothing about it. That showed me a respect for the game. You see the other side where people are complaining every time they lose a hand. I just want to set an example and take a stand for the guys who have that etiquette, and lose like gentlemen, or women for that matter."

Featuring a prize pool of $1,335,600, the $3,333 Big Grind Online attracted several known poker pros, among them: John Racener (48th place, $6,277), Maria Ho (42nd, $6,812), Chris Moorman (35th, $7,613), Joe McKeehen (27th, $8,815), Chris Klodnicki (21st, $8,815), and Kevin Eyster (14th, $12,688).

Final table results:

1 Thomas "FLOATZ" Cannuli, United States, $322,815
2 Tara "BeatrixKiddo" Cain, United States, $201,408
3 Adam "HLEDERERER" Owen, United Kingdom, $136,231
4 Daniel "Pepperprince" Zack, United States, $97,232
5 Darren "LegionofBoom" Rabinowitz, United States, $66,112
6 Blake "bk1048" Kelso, United States, $47,547
7 Vincent "AllinVin138" Moscati, United States, $34,859
8 Ryan "holdNfold" Jones, United States, $26,178
9 Millard "Undisputed23" Hale, United States, $20,168

The third and final online bracelet event of this summer, Event #71 $1,000 WSOP.com Online No-Limit Hold'em Championship, is scheduled on July 7, Friday, at 2pm PT.

well to answer your question dear bankrollmob forum member Gerimantas there is a line in the article that says the following: "... for which he claimed his first ever WSOP gold bracelet along with a top cash prize of $322,815." so we can safely assume that this wasn't virtual gold they were talking about...

Dont get me wrong. But on first glance i read cannoli
and had to reread to make sure, and of course i was wrong Smile

With the win from 2015, he could have lasted a couple more years, with no more income Smile
This was a nice addition for him and a nice win.

Tom's a great player and a well deserved Bracelet.

I remember him from 2015Main Event final table with that weirdo next too him Justin Schwartz. dude with no teeth and made trouble for kid poker during one of his hands.

Congratz again Tom on this great accomplishment!

Gratz for the winner of these great WSOP event. I don´t really like rebuy tourneys, the late registration and allin gambling are not my favorite style Blink But with the right strategy and aggressive playing it was possible to win a lot, like these guy.

Many congratulations to Thomas Cannuli on winning his first bracelet. This guy is a seriously good poker player, after reaching the main event final table, and fully deserves to win one of these
