On August 31 Monday, King's Casino announced that it has increased the guaranteed prize pool for the €10,350 World Series of Poker Europe (WSOPE) Main Event which is scheduled on November 4 to 10. The guarantee was amped up from €4M to €5M, with the emerging winner to take home at least €1M!

King's Casino owner Leon Tsoukernik said, "We are encouraged by the number of early bookings for the WSOPE, so much so that we have raised the total guarantee of the Main Event to €5,000,000 and now guarantee €1,000,000 to the winner. My advice is to book now and secure your spot."

Not only that, participants shall get to play at the new home of this year's WSOP Europe at King's Casino in Rozvadov, Czech Republic. In anticipation for the prestigious event, Tsoukernik had recently added 1,800 square meters of Las Vegas-themed casino space with extra 40 poker tables. On August 10, the casino will open an amazing new hotel with 200+ additional rooms during the upcoming partypoker German Poker Championships scheduled on August 3 to 15. Featuring €2M in total guarantees, the event definitely ensures it's going to be a busy month at King's Casino, which also anticipates the inaugural PokerStars Sunday Million Live as well as the return of the PokerNews Cup.

Tsoukernik said, "Last year alone, we brought over 250,000 poker players to Rozvadov. Although this is already a great result for a town of 500, I believe we will be able to double that number as soon as our plans for expansion are completed and people will get the opportunity to come here for a proper poker holiday."
The 2017 World Series of Poker Europe commences on October 19 Thursday, featuring 11 bracelet events in Rozvadov, Czech Republic. The first official gold bracelet event starts on October 19 with a €1,100 buy-in Monster Stack NLHE event with three starting flights and a €500K prize pool guarantee. The series officially ends on November 10 Friday once a winner is crowned in the Main Event.

Tsoukernik also said that over 90 players already committed to the WSOP Europe €111,111 High Roller that begins on November 3. The event will only allow 111 players to join and it already includes some of the biggest personalities in poker such as Antonio Esfandiari, Fedor Holz, Gus Hansen, Liv Boeree, Patrik Antonius, Tony G, and Phil Hellmuth. Tsoukernik revealed, "The demand is strong and I have given up my own seat and will play host instead. My €11,000 deposit will go to One Drop."

The World Series is really living up its name and is becoming a worldwide phenomenon. It must be really nice going to all these countries and play poker for huge amounts of money

Great news here about wsope. Rozvadon in the Czech Republic has hit the scene well running some revenge events from some poker site partners. There are some promos going on right now for this including as ever at 888 so give it a spin and I look forward to seeing some mobsters in Rozvadov.

You are right. Is very beautiful but at the same time you have to earn some money. If you do not win then it will be harder to pay for some tournaments with big buy in. In this situation you will only remain with the memories in those places and with empty pockets Smile But at least you've visited as many places as possible. Is nice

a couple months ago there was news of leon having not paid a multimillion debt....obvious as you can see that must of been false

The WSOP Europe in November sounds interesting, perhaps it was the chance to play a big tourney outside from Vegas Blink The event can grow up in the next years and perhaps we have a own nice WSOP in Europe in the future.

kinda surprised to see world series of poker europe is taking place in chech republic and not one of the more usual countries like great Britain, france, germany etc. sure it's up to the organizers to call the shots, just my 2 cents though.

Added another 1,000,000? .... this is certainly very nice news for the players who will play in this tournament ... and a prize of 1,000,000 for the first place will probably give us a new millionaire .... unless of course the person that does not already have a million

I was surprised too like pochui said, with the place for it.
And it is an event that attracts quite some people, so it is always a boost for the local community
wherever it is held.
The raise was also a big one from 4 to 5 mil.
Participants must be very happy with it.

I've heard some rumblings about King's Casino, am I the only one? Not that I travel or that I will be there or have an interest in this event at all, only seen some people mostly anonymous saying that it's not the best venue.
Like any major gambling venture in Europe there will be rumours of Russian or Mafia involvement behind the scenes. Any truth to the rumours this time around?
I'm not saying I have the inside track. My friends are idiots. But that doesn't mean that they are wrong either.

the kings casino has been hyped up for the past year since i think the final ept? and was destined to get more events because of this, and hes probably friends with the right people at the right time

This world series of poker europe event will take place in Czech republic so this is really not far from my country and prices of hitels and food in this country are a lot better than in more prestigious countires so I think it is good for players with smaller money.

Hello my friends and fellow mobsters

This is building up to be a very big event the king`s casino has growed a lot in the past here and some big names have already played there they have a open law on poker so many online players went there to play and the country is amazing so it has everything lined up to be a big sucess

The November Nine era is over for the World Series of Poker Main Event in Las Vegas. So, the €10,350 World Series of Poker Europe Main Event scheduled to start in early November will be the cynosure of all eyes.
