The Coolbet Open 2018 Autumn Edition shall commence on October 16 to 21 in Tallinn, Estonia, and its Main Event is expected to feature at least a guaranteed prize pool of €200,000!

The second-ever Coolbet Open is hosted by the Olympic Park Casino at the Hilton Tallinn Park in Tallinn, the capital city of Estonia.

The first ever Coolbet Open was back in May, and it was a smashing success - there were 425 players who joined which generated a prize pool worth €206,125. The festival featured 27 action-packed tournaments. This upcoming second edition is certainly going to be even more exciting as the schedule has been expanded to a total of 31 tournaments.

Back in May, the first-ever Coolbet Open winner was Sebastian Wahl of Finland, who was the last man standing amongst a field of 425 entries, and he took home the top prize of €50,100 ($60,267). At that time, this was Wahl's biggest cash in his career. Last month, however, he surpassed this when he took down the 2018 Fennia Grand Slam €1,100 NLHE for €100,931 ($117,047).

Just like in May, participating players will see the Coolbear mascot walking around as they laugh and enjoy themselves throughout the festival. Lots of celebs and Coolbet-sponsored poker pros have confirmed that they will be attending the festival such as singer Kim Herold, Norwegian celebrity Audun Sørseth, basketball player Martin Müürsepp, and former football players Bent Skammelsrud and Joel Lindpere.

The festival begins October 16 with entertainment and welcome drinks served to everyone at 7 pm EEST.

The Main Event begins its two opening flights on October 17-18. This tournament is a deep-stacked event with participants starting with a chip count of 30,000 each and blind levels starting at 45 minutes before increasing to 60 minutes in duration. Players will certainly have lots of opportunities to build up a huge stack not only because of the nice structure but also thanks to the tourney allowing unlimited re-entries until the conclusion of the first blind level on Day 2 (October 19). Surviving players will then return to compete for the one final day on October 20 until a victor is crowned.

The tournament is expected to attract a huge crowd of around 400 players, and the organizers of the festival are estimating the prize pool to reach at least €200,000!

This does look like a really cool tournament and there should be plenty of interest. I went to Tallinn many years ago and it was one of the most beautiful places i had ever been to

Yes to me it look liek very good series of tournaments and main even too good orize money of 200.000 euros and maybe more. Not millions but good money, also i like that it is close to my country in estonia, not far to go. Many chips to start and apdo unlimited reentry is good structure

Another tournament for the live poker players.
One that cant be described as a big one, according to the prize money.
But it might built up in the future Smile
If it is combined with vacation, it can be even better, it is a nice place to visit,
especially in winter

Any tourney where a polar bear mascot running around between the tables to greet the actual players is an okay event in my eyes. Buyin is out of my level though so I might never be able to participate on something like this.

This is of course very interesting, but the coolbet does not work for players from Russia // // I don’t know why such discrimination // // This is very sad // // I would try to fight because Tallinn is very close to St. Petersburg // // / it would be interesting to play in this tournament

This is of course very interesting, but the coolbet does not work for players from Russia.

They only allow playing poker/registering from Norway, Sweden, Finland, Estonia, Iceland, Netherlands, Austria, New Zealand, Switzerland and Germany.
But I doubt their live events have the same restrictions...

Pajalnick, you can go with your personal money in Estonia, to play a live poker there if you want. I do not think there are any online satellites for that. You will have to pay and then try to win money. You played last night snap to level 30 and i wanted to greet you but i could not because someone gave it all in. Try if you really want it. Good luck Blink

Yeah as I mentioned I fairly doubt they have the same restrictions on their sponsored live events as well - otherwise it would be a highly counteractive promotion.

Yes i think too there is no restrict of people from some country in this live poker tournament and it is good for players who cannot play on coolbet poker but maybe live near tallin and want to go to this event. Maybe some players from this firum play this tournament if so good luck to them
 CALICUL14/10/2018 07:33:24 GMT
Wow. Some live poker tournaments is restricted from russians people. Unbelievable. I sit and think... Igor Kurganov has a restriction on that tournament or not because is born in Sankt Petersburg, Rusia. I do not think he has double citizenship. Online is fine, but restriction for live in other countries is something embarrassing. Russia must to change this bad law.
 dule-vu14/10/2018 10:33:43 GMT
this is not some tournament with biggest payouts or large poker comapnies, but still will be good fight for money!
and about russian players at this site,I dont know, its not strange that on every site you have restriction for some country!you cant play poker online in america, but you can come at that live tournament and play it!so russian can do this, but ofcourse then you cant come trough satellites!
 Gerimantas14/10/2018 16:54:55 GMT
Yes i too think like.dule.vu say it is strange to see almost all poker rooms have soke restrictions to ppayers from this or that country, and also to me very strange Americans cannot ppay in many rooms when America have las Vegas capital of.gambling
 CALICUL15/10/2018 08:12:21 GMT
I understand that. There are some restrictions in the online environment, but why is the restriction when the live tournament is in another country. The Russian institute is not happy to receive money when the players earn nice money with these games from other countries?
 dule-vu15/10/2018 11:06:40 GMT
this only politic and nothing else!they dont allow russian players to play and thats all!ok if they dont want them do play online at their site, but not to let them to play at live tournament is just stupid!even russian players can play at WSOP in las vegas and you dont let them to play in small estonia!
