When the poker community sees news about Viktor ‘Isildur' Blom, they quickly become interested to know what's the latest thing happening about the Swedish sensation of the poker world. In this news article, the 28-year-old high-stakes online poker pro had won a SCOOP title during a weekend in May after topping a field of 122 players, earning $59,780! On the other hand, Niklas ‘Lena900' Astedt won that past week's SCOOP, outlasting a player field of 264 to win $50,391.55. Prop bets are definitely common among poker players, but there are some that's plain crazy like this one, so it's no surprise that it immediately became one of the most-read articles here on BRM. For 100,000, can you survive a full 30 days inside a bathroom with no light and human interaction? After some time, news came out that it was poker player Rich Alati who agreed to do this challenge, to prove to Rory Young that it can be done. In the end, Alati has proven he had nerves of steel and the patience to endure, to the point even Young himself was convinced Alati can last the entire 30 days, so Young urged him to call off the bet. Since he lasted 20 days, Alati got $62,400 from it.
