It looks like Davidi Kitai's luck has been super high thanks to his wife's baby bump, which inspired him to win the first prize of €700,000 ($862,772) in the second of the 2018 partypoker LIVE MILLIONS Grand Final €25,500 Super High Rollers in Casino Barcelona, Spain.
"Every time I was all in, I kept thinking about the baby and rubbed the belly," said the Belgian poker pro, who couldn't wipe the smile off his face after saying goodbye to 89 other opponents in the super-strong field which included Germany's Manig Loeser, Spain's Adrian Mateos, and a trio of high-roller Americans Ryan Riess, Jake Schindler and Justin Bonomo.
According to the Hendon Mob website, Kitai's recent win breaks the $9 million barrier ($9,021,326 in tournament cashes), and so he confirmed his status as Belgium's number 1, and now he is proud to have double the earnings of 2nd placer Pierre Neuville.
The three-time WSOP bracelet winner actually has more reasons to be happy other than winning the title and prize money at the tournament. It turns out that after he got married last summer, Kitai and his wife are now expecting a baby.
