There will be 78 official gold bracelet events awaiting poker players who will join in on the 2018 World Series of Poker, starting on May 29 up until July 17, 2018.
At this moment, the reigning champ is 888poker ambassador Scott Blumstein. The poker player from New Jersey won a humongous $8,150,000 as his reward for outlasting a massive field of 7,221 players in the 2017 WSOP Main Event.
This year's WSOP is going to the 49th annual edition of the prestigious summer poker event, and for its 14th successive year, the action is to take place at the Rio All-Suite Hotel & Casino in Las Vegas.
Unlike previous years, the Main Event will not be the final event to conclude, but instead there will be additional 13 tournaments scheduled AFTER it.
Also, for the first time since 2014, the $1,000,000 Big One for One Drop will be held once again at this year's WSOP.

Some schedule changes
The 2018 WSOP shall introduce the Big Blind Ante to eight events. This format type makes the big blind pay the ante for the whole table. It will be used for events 13, 20, 45, 54, 74, 77 and 78.
