Tom "Durrrr" Dwan becomes the second brand ambassador of Triton Poker, joining Jason Koon in the prestigious Super High Roller series.

The Triton Poker announcement described him as “poker savant Tom ‘durrrr’ Dwan who has been a supporter of the Triton Poker Series since inception.”

The American high-stakes poker legend lived for several years in and around Macau, known worldwide as the ‘Gambling capital of the world’ or ‘Monte Carlo of the East’. Macau is also where the Triton Poker series was born.

Jason Koon, a Team partypoker pro who was the first ambassador signed up to Triton Poker in January, was delighted to have Dwan on board, “I’m thrilled to be in the company of Tom Dwan as a Triton Ambassador”. When I began my journey as a poker player Tom was already crushing the biggest games in the world. When the poker action started booming in Asia Tom was one of the first to dive into the action. He’s one of the most exciting players to watch, and play against, and I can’t think of a better addition to the Triton roster.”

Dwan shall be representing the brand for the first time during The Triton Poker Series in Montenegro on May 5-17.

About Triton Poker

Malaysian businessman, philanthropist and poker player Richard Yong felt that the poker scene lacked something exciting, an exclusive tournament series for affluent businesspeople and high-end pro poker players that is set in some of the most prestigious venues in the world, all in the name of charity; and so, Triton Poker was born. Funds from Triton Poker events have helped fund charitable organizations such as the Red Cross and Project Pink.

Previous winners of Triton Poker events include the likes of Daniel ‘Jungleman' Cates, Dan Colman, partypoker ambassadors Timofey ‘Trueteller' Kuznetsov, Fedor Holz, Jason Koon and Mikita Badziakouski, Timothy Adams, John Juanda, Justin Bonomo, and Phil Ivey.

In 2017, the Triton Poker Series in Montenegro was an all-German soiree, with Fedor Holz taking down the HKD 250K NLHE 6-Max event - he defeated a player field of 41 to grab the $444,893 top prize. The HKD 1 Million Triton Montenegro Main Event was conquered by Manig Loeser - he defeated a player field of 52 to win $2,162,644!

In 2018, the series obviously doubled in size, and they had included for the very first time, live Short Deck tournaments.

Good series should be promoted adequately and Tom Dwan is a player who deserves this. He is very able to be an ambassador for Triton Poker. He will not disappoint the players who will participate in these games and the same with the fans of the series. He's a big boy now.

Dwan is a quite obvious choice for that job. He is known to play in the series for them, and he is fameous on both sides of the Pacific. He may get some players from the US of A, and maybe even Europe, to join that quite new network.

It was a good choice for trition to pick him up.
A well known name of course in the world of poker, with a great success in
his career.
He is still young and has a bright future in head of him, on the poker tables.
And once more no details on the financial part, between the two parties Smile

I never thought that this super popular poker player would promote this poker network, but apparently Triton Poker is developing so much that now it can attract enough famous people to advertise its movement. It’s only good for everyone and for Triton Poker it’s good and Dwan’s OK
