I hate inefficient systems. In my job in education I see a lot of these on a daily basis. Double marking, needless costs and time wasting tests all lead to extra work, extra cost and little benefit and it drives me mad. I see it on a day to day basis in my non-work life too.

Bullying in poker has two meanings and sadly, both are prevalent. You will likely see it on tables and forums on a daily basis. The first kind of bullying is the ‘at the table bullying', using your stack to build more of a stack. This is part of poker and I won't be discussing this, mainly because I am not qualified to do so, not being a good enough player.

I have just been reading in the news that in secondary schools, 50% of boys and 66% of girls do not have a shower after P.E. Children from deprived backgrounds are 40% less likely to shower. The worry is that these children are not exerting themselves enough as they don't want to sweat and then smell after P.E.

You can't beat terrorism. Whilst some people disagree, I believe this to be a fact. Sure you can kill terrorists but this invariably creates more terrorists. Say you are in your country with your family, just an ordinary family with a wife and 2 sons. You go out to protect your family and your country from the threat of attack by other countries or worse, you try and protect what you believe in, your religion.

Well that title most definitely got your attention. This blog entry will be about breastfeeding. Well, breastfeeding in public to be more accurate.

Now everyone seems to have an opinion on that and a strong opinion too. Some people think it is a mother's right to breastfeed wherever she wants. Some people think it should be a personal and private thing. My other half thinks it is disgraceful, he says the baby's head gets right in the way of the view!! I sit on the fence, I think it should be a mother's right, within reason.

I recall a time in Portsmouth, when a 15 year old was breaking into a community centre and fell through the sky light. He was injured but not seriously. Was he marched to his parents and forced to apologise?
