The biggest ever EPT Main Event (EPT Barcelona) concluded yesterday after several days of thrilling and action-packed poker. Poker legend John Juanda bested a field of 1,694 players to lay hands on the trophy and over €1 million in prize money!
Day 3 of the EPT Barcelona Main Event (1694 entries, the biggest EPT Main Event in history) kicked off with 343 players, but only 247 of them would receive a share of the €8,215,900 prize pool.
Another day of the EPT Barcelona Main Event has come to an end. Approximately 360 of 1,700 entrants made it through to Day 3, and Nick Petrangelo (picture) bagged up the chip lead with 570k.
Although the registation desks are open until the start of Day 2, we already know for a fact that the EPT Barcelona Main Event, with 1,673 entries, is the biggest Main Event in the history of the European Poker Tour! (The previous record was set in 2011 when 1,560 players entered the PCA Main Event).
