Already in his mid-50's, Greg "FossilMan" Raymer proved this week that age doesn't matter in the world of poker as he took down the Heartland Poker Tour (HPT) Ameristar East Chicago $1,650 Main Event. This latest victory is actually his record fifth HPT Main Event title, and with that he won the prize money worth $171,411 plus a $3,500 Championship Package for the HPT Season XVI Championship at the end of the season.

A few days ago Greg Raymer, the 2004 WSOP Main Event winner, wrote on his twitter that he's no longer representing PokerStars and that he has no further comments. PokerStars hasn't announced anything yet either, but it's clear that Greg Raymer is no longer part of their team as he has been removed from the website.

So, what's the reason Greg Raymer is leaving PokerStars after so many years? Well, there are quite a few rumors, but most likely is that the conditions for the PokerStars pros aren't as good as before and that's the reason he left. We will probably get the answer very soon.
