It's once again time for another big charity poker tournament. This time in the capital of the world when it comes to gambling, Las vegas. The charity tournament is scheduled to kick off 12th December at Hard Rock Casino. The tournament is set to benefit The One Step Close Foundation, a nonprofit organization whose main goal is to have an impact on the lives of those suffering from cerebral palsy by working with support groups, individuals who have CP, and by providing money for research.

The buy-in for the tournament will be $500+$50 and there will be unlimited $200 rebuys the first 90 minutes. Half of the money will go to charity and the second half will go to the prizepool. Some of the bigger names that will take part in the tournament are Phil Laak, Jamie Gold, Doyle Brunson, Eli Elezera, Men "The Master" Nguyen, Freddy Deeb, and Scotty Nguyen.

 

2006 WSOP Main Event winner Jamie Gold is joining the poker agency Poker Icons. Poker Icons is the fastest growing poker agency and they have hooked up players like Johhny Lodden and Johan Storakers with some nice deals in the past.
