The European Poker Tour Barcelona High Roller tournament saw a field of 101 players (10 reloads). After 3 days and several hours of play on the final table, Alex Bilokur and Laurent Polito were the last men standing. The two agreed on a deal that gave Bilokur the larger cheque. Bilokur, who earned $1.1 million for winning the $25k High Roller at the PCA last season, added another $295,451 to his bankroll after being eliminated in second place by Polito. Laurent Polito, whose biggest win before was "only" €64,000, received €270,229 and the exclusive Shamballa Jewels bracelet for taking down the tournament.
