A massive field of 629 runners entered Day 1B of the EPT Malta Main Event, which brings the total to 899 entries - with registration open until tomorrow at noon. This means that the tournament is already the second-largest debut for a new destination on the European Poker Tour.

EPT Prague: The Final Table is Set!

It didn't take long for a field of 22 players to be narrowed down to a final table of 8 players in the 5th day of the EPT Prague Main Event. Julian Track from Germany will bring the largest stack to today's final table (7.2 million), and Day 4 chip leader Max Silver is his closest opponent with 5.9 million chips.

EPT Prague: Max Silver Leads Last 22 in Main Event; Lacay Eliminated in 33rd Place

22 of 61 players made it through Day 4 of the EPT Prague Main Event and unfortunately Ludovic Lacay, the 2012 EPT Sanremo winner, is no longer in the contest. The French poker star had a decent chip lead when Day 4 kicked off and he picked up where he'd left off in Day 3. However, things changed drastically when he called Max Silver's all-in with pocket kings. Silver showed the best starting hand in the game of Texas Hold'em and Lacay ended up losing a significant chunk of his stack. Eventually, Lacay bused in 33rd place by Ori Hansson.
