Posted on 28 January 2011 by "M".

It has recently been reported that the GSOP Live Event in Bucharest, which was to be held between the 2nd and 6th of February, has been cancelled. The reason for the cancellation is due to "unexpected change in Romanian regulation".

According to to gsoplive, the qualified players do not have to worry: "We will reimburse all qualified players $2,300 for buy-in, hotel and hospitality. If you have already booked your flight, simply send a confirmation of your ticket purchase to your site and it will also be refunded".

Upon future cancellations of gsop live events, gsoplive comments: "Due to the ever changing political and legal landscape regarding poker in Europe we will be very vigilant in where we choose to go for GSOP Live and we are confident that the Grand Final in Seville will not be affected".
