Two Charged For Leaving Kids In Hot Vehicle While Playing Video Poker

Maxine Brown, 58, and Prince Wilson, 57, both of Hemingway, were arrested earlier this week for leaving two children, ages 7 and 11, in a hot vehicle for over an hour while they played video poker in a convenience store on Third Loop Road in Florence County (located in the U.S. state of South Carolina).

Brown and Wilson are now facing charges of Cruelty to Children, a crime that is punishable by imprisonment for not more than 30 days or a fine of not more than $200, according to carolinaalive.com. Officials stated that the children were in their care and custody for now.

Someone called 911 at 7 p.m. Sunday, February 3, to report that three children were locked inside a van behind a business on the west side of Oklahoma City. Two Men Accused Of Robbing Women Of Her Video Poker Cash

Two men are each being held on $500,000 bail at the Multnomah County Detention Center because they are being accused of robbing a women in Portland of her approximately $1,000 video poker winnings. The victim told police that she had been at a bar with Nickolas D. Fisher, 22, and Joshua Dean Lauritsen, 25, on the night of January 6. Later that night, she was getting a lift in Lauritsen's car. Lauritsen turned down a side street and stopped while Fisher drove up behind them...
