Big Bet Poker is highly professional online poker room that is part of the Merge Gaming Network. They are owned by BigBetPoker company and licensed by the Kahnawake Gaming Commission.
One of the great things about Big Bet Poker is the fact that they are still accepting players from United States, and they also accept Credit Card payments from US.
Even if they have been around for a short time, they are using the software and players base of the Merge Gaming Network, which has been around since 2005.
The promotions offered are great, the sign up bonus is very rewarding for every new player and you will also be part of an online loyalty program which can help you earn even more money while you play poker and have fun.

 | Software |
The software of Big Bet Poker is going to offer you a great playing environment. The tables are very clean and easy to read and they also offer a good amount of options. There are no avatars for the players so that you can focus 100% on the game and not on other things. You can use the rabbit hunt feature to see how a certain hand would have played out.
Other features that you might find useful and interesting are the following: instant hand history, player notes that include tags which can remind you exactly how a certain player acted in the past, hand replay plus other features and options that are there to improve your online poker gaming experience.
|

Since Big Bet Poker is still a small online poker room, most of the opponents can be found at the $0.50/$1 cash tables. And thanks to the growing popularity of this online poker room, now you can find more players playing at the $2/$4 blind level and sometimes even more.
Just like most small online poker rooms on the internet, one of the main advantages that you will get, except for the great welcome bonus, is the fact that the competition is very soft and that you can easily find a table full of fish. This news should definitely help you enjoy your stay at Big Bet Poker a lot.

WOW! Talk about an IDEAL inaugural first no-deposit bonus experience! I have had a handful of other no-deposit bonuses (mostly through other online poker/casino/gambling affiliates) and this is the most generous and most importantly, time-INSENSITIVE bonus I've ever had the pleasure of encountering and luck of finding before it was discontinued (I'm assuming it won't be brought back, EVER . . . PHEW! LOL). The software is sweet; the only network I've played on where you can choose either a custom OR preset avatar (they have dozens you can choose on the Player Administration site). Besides that, the lobby and table selection is kind of frustrating (remembers filters but not how you sort tables, very annoying), but joining the waiting list is more customized than on most other networks I've encountered. The network is growing thanks to lots of no-deposit bonuses on other sites besides Big Bet, so the prospect of cash game grinding will be a reality by 2011, please believe me. When I started playing in early fall 2009, it was tough to find more than 3 full ring NLHE2 cash games filled to capacity. Always plenty of great micro and low MTT action, but not much to be had at the micro S&G's, and that's all I play as of tourneys right now. As another reviewer said, not much action overall compared to the Big 3 (or Big 5, what have you) networks, but it's a "comfy" proportion of sharks, regs, and fish. I'm well on my way to a hefty roll there through very (but not TOO) tight/aggro play and of course the blessed BRM BBP NDB, FTWLOLKTHXBYE!

Very much I liked Bigbet. His appearance is elegant and tasteful. very pleasant colours of the interface. very much it is easy to move on the poker. The poker lorry is in my opinion quite little, although he has his climate. Playing very kind people. Very much the big bonus for the first payment works to the benefit of it. I recommend everyone bigbet, and I hope that we will see ourselves on the poker table. Successes

Big Bet Poker is one of the newest additions to the growing Merge poker network. This online poker room allows US poker players and carries all the features that you will find on other Merge sites. The software downloads quickly and updates regularly. The network continues to add features and is becoming a strong force in online poker. Please note the no deposit bankroll builder offer has ended effective 31 October 2009.

Hello,
Bigbet is an innovative poker site where we can test our game in low limit tables starting NL5 traffic is not very good to say to the players who are used to playing on multiple tables and that in peak hours does have such 20K connected players just a few of which half is not even a real money account.
The good thing bigbetpoker bonds are offered for first deposit and easy to release such bonds as a few sessions with lower limits we have all the money in a few days without having to wear us down and in other rooms.
Room is very friendly and has very good graphics pleasing to the eye as well as a variety of tournaments with large prize pools in which no more than 2000 players enter

big bet poker is a good place to play poker, but for my taste has very few users on line at the time that I usually play. The lobby could be a little more friendly. is more room, there is something particular that stood out, I think the new rooms deveria innovate something, because otherwise one tends to always return to the halls of higher traffic. I also believe that the fewest deveria rooms have micro-micro "tournaments and cash tables, but just my opinion. but anyway, do not miss the free bankroll in this room, poker remains the same in any room and you never know when it might be your lucky day.

I like the software, but traffic isn't as busy as it should be in some time periods... I much love that the players seem to be not so skilled in some sit and go's. And the points structure is one of the easiest I have ever seen, so this room has very good rating from me.

I decided to go with Big Bet Poker since they had live chat support. Here is what I found wrong with the site:
-Live chat don't think for themselves and only cut & paste random garbage when you ask them anything.
-The bonus and point system is not really clear and somewhat misleading (read very carefully).
-The traffic is horrible, even at the micro levels. Never sufficient for any type of grinding.
-The color scheme is horrible and hurts your eyes.
-The best hand rarely wins, especially if you go all-in preflop (25K hand sample).
In conclusion, as the title states, if you are a weekend player who wants to play a few hands for fun then go ahead, you will probably have some fun. If you are serious about playing online poker or play more than just on the weekend for fun, then stay away from this site and this network.

A good poker site to play texas hold’em. Is part of a relatively small network the "Merge Gaming Network", is small but is a trustworthy company. The support from the customer service are fast and have live chat and email. The software is not the best, but is not bad either. The traffic is small you compare it with Full tilt or Pokerstars. The transactions are fast, and safe. The promotions are good they have a 30% rakeback and Refer-A-Friend porgram, build your bankroll, 1st. Deposit Bonus, Freeroll Tournaments. Etc

the traffic on the lowstakes seems to be okay for a small site, i didn't have problems to find good cashgames there so far. the good thing about less players is that you recognize the regulars quickly and there are still enough bad players. a nice thing is that (as it seems) there are not that many shortstacks (you cannot play serious poker when 6 out of 10 players are shortstacked). i like the software more than ipoker for example.

The bonus thru bankroll is generous but a little missleading. It actually goes 200 points then 400more points then 750 more ect. I liked the site alot, Competition seemed fairly easy, Cards came out realistically and fair, and i enjoyed myself there. The bad is there were times it was hard to find a sit and go to play as there are only a limited amount of people on this site right now, and there seemed to be a few glitches which they are still obviously working out. Both of these problems seem minor and im sure they will be worked out, I know I plan on going back
Unlike munkie I found plenty of dumb donkey players, there is a rabbit cam so if you dont like it dont use it! I myself still being able to let the kid out inside rather enjoyed the smileys, along with lots other on the site, I got a good kick out of them alot. Most people on this site have a good attitude, but you do run into a few,,"see above"! Unlike munkie I found plenty of dumb donkey players, there is a rabbit cam so if you dont like it dont use it! BigBet poker looks to be a good site, I have played there for only a few weeks but that is much longer than i normally last at "other sites" I generaly only play at one site (i wont mention in another sites rewiew). I get bored easy with the players on new sites aswell as the different backgrounds or the clunky play but BigBet is cool it hasnt rilled me at all. The other players seem quite good (a good poker level across the bottom / low stakes) but you do get some very fishy people, I dont know if that is due to the very good ndb offer availible but if it is thats better for me ha ha ha. All in all a very good place to play.

The traffic for BigBet Poker (merge network) isn't all that busy compared to the larger networks but theres always a few NL4, NL10 and NL25 tables running. The site is American friendly and the traffic is increasing in general according to pokerscout. At peak hours, theres usually 10-12 tables of NL10 and 8-9 tables of NL25 running.
There are quite a few variety of tourneys available on the network as well as cash games but its mostly dominated by NLholdem. The software is much better than a few other bigger networks *cough*ipoker/ongame*. The bankroll builder promo is one of -if not- the best no deposit bonuses you can get, starting from 10$ and earn each level up to 300$. The tables are fairly fishy and the NL10 table plays like NL2 on Stars/FTP.
All in all, its a great site to play at and the support is very good. Definately worth playing in.

BigBet Poker is a decent site because they are fairly new and really small compared to everyother program. Less users means less donkeys. Granted, there are retards everywhere but you encounter less her. The one thing that is severely retarded is the rabbit cam..., and the smileys and the other gay shit. I do like the bonus bankroll you get thru other sites. Free 10 dollars and you keep building up.
