Celeb Pokerreview overviewOverview
Celeb Poker is a continuously growing poker site which is part of the iPoker Network. It was established in 2004 and its aim is to give poker players of different nationalities to have the chance to compete against each other, even with somewhat famous celebrities. What makes Celeb Poker also popular is that it is a very good site for international players due to the fact that it offers US dollar, Euro, Pound, and other currency tables for playing. The overall gaming quality is good with high flop percentages and bigger pots.

Celeb Poker’s popularity has since increased yet again because you get the chance to play against many celebrities, whether you know them or not. Nevertheless, this is how Celeb Poker got its name. US celebrities who play in Celeb Poker are movie stars Joaquim Denies Almedia and Lou Diamond Phillips. An Asian celebrity who plays Celeb Poker is Marco Fu, a snooker player. Mostly, the celebrities playing here are of European descent which attracts more European players each day to this site. European celebrities who play here are Mark Williams, Jimmy White and Ken Doherty (snooker players); Alan Brazil and Chris Brooks (radio presenters); Gareth Hunt (actor); Harry Redknapp (football manager); Kenny Miller, Matthew Etherington, Paul Ince and Simon Davies (football players); Lawrence Dallaglio (rugby player); Scott Robinson (former 5ive member); Nick Leeson (rogue trader); and Normal Pace (a comedian). You will see a comprehensive biography of all these celebrity poker players on the Celeb Poker website.

Unfortunately, US players are not accepted.

Celeb Poker software reviewSoftware
Celeb Poker possesses very good graphics which gives a better gaming experience. Its graphics are detailed and the background looks realistic and easy on the eyes. The sound effects are outstanding too. There is also a cool count-down timer over each avatar that tells you the how much time there is left to act on. New players will find the interface user friendly. You can also see the number of hands per hour, the percentage of players viewing the flop and the average pot in the lobby and when at the table. They also have multi-tabling of up to 5 tables. They now have options for different languages and currencies which can drive more international competition to their site.

Celeb Poker is considered as one of the most famous poker sites existing today because of its overall entertaining game play with lots of fish even at the higher stakes and you also get the chance to play against some of the world’s famous celebrities and personalities. You can spot these famous people from their “Celebrity Name Tags” if you happen to play against them.

Celeb PokertrafficreviewTraffic
Because Celeb Poker is part of the Boss Media/International Poker Network (IPN), they have average traffic. When Celeb Poker was forced to not accept US players in 2006, they suffered greatly, but today it has gradually again built up its player numbers. As its name suggests, Celeb Poker has celebrity players that love poker – one of the main attractions that drive more and more players to this site each day. There are about 5,450 players of Celeb Poker during off-peak hours in both ring games and cash games. At peak hours, there are about 3,300 ring game players and 13,300 tournament players which average at about 15,000 to 16,000 online players at Celeb Poker each time.

Celeb PokeropponentsreviewOpponents
Celeb Poker’s players mostly are at the loose side. This is very suitably recommended for beginner poker players. This site has probably the highest flopping percentage even at the higher limit stakes. There are a few sharks here but several fishy players with very deep pockets. Overall, the very poor competition is one of the reasons why many poker players enjoy playing at Celeb Poker whether they are experienced or not. If you are experienced at poker but do not have much cash to bet in, then this is the right poker site for you.

Celeb PokerTournamentsreviewTournaments
Tournaments offered are the Sit-N-Go, freerolls, single and multi tables and satellites. In addition, they also now have Heads-Up tournaments. Satellites are very frequent for major live events such as the Irish Poker Open and other high-ranking European events.

Many poker enthusiasts really like Celeb Poker’s appealing diversity of hourly tournaments. The $25,000 guaranteed weekly poker tournament and the $100,000 guaranteed monthly poker tournament always catches the attention of most players of Celeb Poker.

Other existing tournaments are the Asian Poker Classic, EPT Barcelona, Austrian Classic and the $12,000 Choose Your Own Tournament. These fun and thrilling games help Celeb Poker obtain a steady rise in their traffic, most especially during its peak hours.

Celeb Poker cashgames reviewCashgames
Celeb Poker offers games such as Texas Hold ‘Em, Omaha, Omaha Hi-Lo, Seven Card Stud, Seven Card Stud Hi-Lo, Five Card Draw and Five Card Draw 7-A.

They have low to high stakes table limits. They also have a casino with games like Blackjack, Roulette, Baccarat, Stud Poker, Sic Bo and slot machines.

Celeb PokerreviewBonuses/Loyalty
Celeb Poker offers BankrollMob members a $199 no deposit bonus. Even countries not part of the $199 no deposit bonus will be offered a different bonus and points for tournaments as well.

There are so many iPoker skins. Same player pool, almost same poker client, but I have good reasons reccomend you select this room. No doubt, Celeb is the place to play. Because they have so generous cashback system. You can exchange your player points for cash at the rate of $10-1750 points, $20-3000 points, $50-7000 points.
You sould compare this rate with other iPoker skins. For example, $10-8000 points (Mansion) , $10-9000 points (770) , $10-10000 (Dafa), $10-14000 points (WilliumHill) .
Titan ($10-2000 points) is only one room which have a good rate like Celeb, but a little less than Celeb.

If you have already took BankrollMob's $50 gift offers, Celeb is one of the best place to play next.

Celeb Poker was Established in 2003 as a part of the iPoker network and offers many poker variants including Hold’em, Omaha, Stud and Razz, from stakes of $.01/$.02 up to €300/€600. You can also play a variety of multi-table and sit & go tournaments. Unfortunately Celeb Poker is not open to US players. In Every month Celeb Poker runs a lot of tournaments with prizepools of $20 Million.
Deposit/Withdrawal Methods: credit cards, MoneyBookers, Online bank transfer, Neteller, Internet banking, Bank Transfer, Webmoney, Click2Pay, Use my Bank, Ticket Premium, Paysafe Card, Ukash, Eco, My Citadel Wallet, Click and Buy. Therefor I will say that Celeb Poker Room is class 8 in my poker sites stats. Good luck at the tables and Kind Regards to EVERYONE.

Well i first siged up throuh Banroll Mob and I find the room quite bigger lol i didn't expect to find so many players at all stacks! Even if they offer the no deposit bonuses only to certain countries, for all the players like me there are good cash bonuses if you earn points(and if you register through BRM) which is cool. I conted the support once to get some info about my bonus and they seemed OK. The softwere is cool..I'm used to it because I 'm registered to another similar room. I haven't tried it yet to see how player ls are.. I hope notto find too many all-in muppets cause I have read on many forums that there as way too many.. I' ll give them 7/ 10!

i love ipoker, players, tournaments all days, plenty of good aspects like freerolls or other stuff like good oponents,

however i dont like its software, i find it boring and unatractive for new players who would like to start playing poker at celeb poker site

you have this good bonus of 199 $ i think it is, you should try it so you can start playing for real money without any depoit from your own money, its not good for a new player not experienced to deposit money and not play as well as it takes

Celeb Poker, part of the very strong iPoker Network, is one of the largest growing poker skins on the whole network. Not only does the poker room offer extensive rake races and other major cash rewards exclusively for their players (i.e. daily SNG and MTT Cash contests), Celeb Poker has one of the most extensive new player rewards systems on the whole network. One of the biggest draws Celeb Poker has is that it, and the greater iPoker network is home to a great number of fish to take advantage of and members of select countries get to try it for free

At Celeb poker they offers huge bonus of $15,00 for every new signup up to a limit of 200 percent deposit. You just have to signup from a pokerlisting( link ) and signup bonus is added directly to your account without asking for any code. There is another bonus for referring a friend. You can get a huge sum of cash of €500 for every friend referred to the website by you, also you earn frequent players points by playing with real money at Celeb Poker. These points are than added to the total points of a player during points tournament.

one thing that hooks to celeb poker is great no deposit bonus- if you do not receive that, you still have lots of ways to build a bankroll from no deposit or with the minimum deposit. they have great freerolls (like cash crazy, new depositor, regular ones as well) they also have a nice jackpot system which allows you to cash in either if you play sng' s or mtt's. nice refer a friend promgram which gives you a chance to get $300... Beer the software is more or less fine- really not a lot of rooms can say that they have exceptional software, and celeb poker is just one of those who are average in this department...overall- nice room to build a bankroll

celeb poker is not on the top of most played poker rooms. its software has many failures that is easily seen if you try to play it in daily basis. most people will disagree me because they already win some money or have no problem with it, but indeed there is something wrong with the software used by them. I have tried infinite times understand these failure but no one seems realize the error. their poker rooms are always empty and they have a difficult chat for help. resuming is not worthy have an account on it, even if you have received the no deposit bonus. you will somehow realize the bugged system of them and you will quit as fast as you get in. you can try post a review with you point of view, if you dare.

I don't really like their poker client application. The tournaments have a good structure but there aren't to many of them. The freerolls are SF domain for this site as there are like 2 freerolls a week from which you can win money. The others give you tickets to some other tournaments. Another thing is that for some countries they don't give you the no deposit bonus, but they credit your account with so called CPP Points that you can use to buy in some tournaments. All in all, I don't really like this poker site and I don't recommend it.

Celeb pokers is one of good poker rooms for new players and beginners. They have great 199$ bonus offer so if you have some skills you can earn some money. they have great tournaments with great guaranted prizes, butblinds are 15 min, so that makes tournaments very slow. cusstomer support is very bad. Software isnt good enough, and can be better. I hope that they make some updates, and make that software support this great no deposit bonus, and attract much more players.Until then, enjoy in playing with this no deposit offer
ImRincewind Monday, July 04, 2011
I'd like the software... it's very good, but there is no people (not many...) no freerolls that you cna play unless you got CC points, I didn't qualify for the no deposit bonus but I get the 100 CC points... I used them on a freeroll, only one, and that's it only one winer (unluckily wasn't me) gets $23.50 sitngo entry... but if you don't get that you got nothing... And it's not true what they say... "100CC point gives you freeroll entry's for $2000" the truth is like 1% of that pot... 23.5
Software: 8/10
Traffic: 3/10
Easy players: 8/10
Tournaments: 4/10
Overview: 4/10
SuperNoob Thursday, June 23, 2011
celeb poker is part of ipoker network so traffic is not an issue, for the same reason software is just average both on looks and functionality.
there is no rakeback and vip scheme is not worth it unless you are a high volume player.
live support is very poor providing misleading and vague replies but got proper response from mailing them. if you do join, then dont miss out the first deposit freeroll which is easy money.
so not worth shifting your funds from the bigger ipoker skins like titan which definitely has better promotions and vip scheme.
and stay off the casino bonuses
LooseKiddie Monday, April 25, 2011
Well, at Celeb Poker there is plenty of tournaments and players on cash games, thanks to iPoker network Blink I don't really love iPoker software, because there are many pokerroms with much, much better software. I would rate it same as Poker770 - 6/10 = above average. There is plenty of promotions, not so bad loyalty program. Tournaments are imo a little less atractive than on Poker770, but still there is something to choose from. It's nice room to play from time to time, but I wouldn't choose it as my first choice room Blink

Sometimes we lose with bad hands...sometimes with good hands...but when you lose 10 rebuys in one tournamanet but dominating the flopand turn...after the river come you lose everithing and just say:"imposible...I have to try again..."...this was what I do...and I lose a lot of hands like AQ and oponent AK....and when I was havin AK the oponent AJ ...river like you know J...I don`t know but this room look`s a little suspecious...after winning 35$ on tables !maybe I have bad luck...but 10 hands in a row?!?!?...was incredible when only 3 people was active...my rate is this!!!
buenagueitor Friday, February 04, 2011
Enough players to play micro limits but not too much players from this lvl. Not to much fishe, players are triying to release theirs bonuses and is quite weird to find a table with more of 25% of players seing the flop. The bonus say is for 199$ but you only start with 9$ and is hard as hell to release the next bonus. Even if you earn enough money to reach the next lvl there arent people to play in highest lvl so u will have to play always micro limits. this room wasnt a good experience for me. If you want to suffer to release the money and you like extremely hard challenges this is your place.
CMJ1102 Sunday, January 23, 2011
As far as a poker site for players who are looking for a long term site, this is a good one! This site is full of all types of players and if that player uses all the tools available he or she could become a very good player. Now being a very good player is very different from being a very very good player. Now I will voice my great dissapointment at the US government for not letting US players play at yet another good site. Are all players from Europe cocky to the point of rude? They all think they are better than US players? Really does it matter where you are from? lol This site does offer lots of bonus's and bells and whistles, but again I have to move to Spain to play! Sucks!

Having joined up to celebpoker previous to joining bankrollmob, I have been playing there a while now. There are many games available to suit your needs, I do find the MTT a bit lacking later in the evening. There support is second to none, live support is available 24 hours a day, and there are also freephone numbers for several countries. The offers are plenty and varied, and there are always competitions going on where you get a chance to gain a little bonus, or a huge cash win! There ae lots of payment methods accepted, and withdrawals are processed within 24 hours without hassle! all in all I would give celebpoker 8/10

i like bonus and play poker. every think bee alwrite here!!!!!!!!!!!
xdonkingx Friday, November 12, 2010
the best point of this room is definitively his live support and personal details with the poker player.

his support is avaliable almost all day and they are really clear explaining all things, on support this room is a 10/10 by sure.

celeb poker is part of ipoker network, so his rake fees at sng and mtt its really high, but his vip program with high rakeback% for medium volume players make yhat high % of rake a litle less.

the average player of ipoker network is really fishy, that makes a lot easier get money at this poker site.
Sasi92 Wednesday, November 10, 2010
i have seen the best freeroll ever on this site... the first deposit bonus! the first 70 in the money... 90 players totally... took the 4th place and won 125$ Smile
pdnagan Sunday, October 17, 2010
i not play and i dont no Celeb poker is part of the well-known ipoker network. That means that there are always playes playing both cash games and tournaments at any hours of the day. For those that do not know ipoker software is reliable and easy to adjust playing even if you are used to better softwares.

CunteN Saturday, October 09, 2010
I really like this room, i got this no deposit bonus a while ago and i managed to cashout over $1200.
No problems at all, you should try it i think.
MartinR Sunday, October 03, 2010
Celebpoker changed it's network, it's now an ipoker face, this is good news. Let notice that ipoker is reputable, and the stock is traded in the markets. Bonus promotions, well the one at bankrollmob is the best you should be able to get $199 no deposit, but no all countries, otherwise you get points to enter tournaments for $1,000 in prizes. First deposit is 100% and grants you a ticket to $2.500 tournament. The biggest even is the European Championship of Online Poker (ECOOP), which give prizes around $5m.
Kerdisas Saturday, July 10, 2010
The room is very typical for the iPoker network. So typical, that nothing special can be said about the interface and design. Both are not so comfortable, but at satisfactory level nevertheless.
The thing which actually makes iPoker network rooms slightly different is the number and quality of promotions. And as for me they are bad on Celeb Poker. No good freerolls, no amazing bonuses. In some countries people can get free money for this room, but in mine I can not. So why should I say that promos are good if they are not available? They gave me a few points to enter a few lousy freerolls instead of the bonus. At that freerolls I got several $. So what? Should I now try built a bankroll from this? A stupid idea. And I have no reasons for making a deposit either.
bycikas Sunday, June 13, 2010
For the start it is important to outline that usage of the site is very easy and payout is user friendly. So even amateur will be happy to go around. Another advantage is number of players, doesn't matter when you join theres always loot of players to have good game with. Also they give bonuses that are pretty good and big,so starters will have advantage. Well , we overlooked advantages now of course we will look at disadvantages, which this site has- and big time... the support is one of the worst i have ever seen or probably it is indeed worst. There is no help what so ever, not on email or phone. If you got a response you may count yourself one lucky guy. In overall this one is below average.
MOAR Sunday, May 09, 2010
This room is a part of the ipoker network. It is pretty easy to get a game going, and the layout on the site is definitely great compared to some other ipoker rooms. There's a lot of fish on the site, which definitely is a plus if you're trying to make money, and not just playing for fun, which I assume almost nobody does. They have 0.01/0.02 heads up cash tables unlike the big sites. (Full Tilt, and Pokerstars)

Overall I'll give it 9/10.
szuku Wednesday, April 21, 2010
What i can say..... i put 6/10 because its some kind of good poker.
U have a lot of daily freerolls. Also software is very nice (table looking).
Players there isnt some kind of pro.
U can easly start play there and build ur bankroll in freeroll.
More... u have one big bonus called 199$. Its nice for new newbie player its help a lot to building bankroll.
But if i will get choose between celeb and everest i will stay in everest.
I would forgot.... support is offline a lot of hours per day! U need to wait some hours to get info!
Synthetikos Sunday, April 11, 2010
Larger players at Celeb Poker with a bankroll can earn the full €1,000 fairly quickly as rake piles up quickly at levels higher than €1/2. With only 90 days allowed to clear the bonus micro-stakes players will have a difficult time earning much because of the low rake at smaller limits. Other promotions include a €10,000 freeroll for players participating in 1,500 raked hands in the previous month, free guaranteed tournament entries for those depositing with Moneybookers, and a bad beat jackpot financed by higher-rake tables.

Hi!
One of the worst site I've played on..
There seems to be no support at all.. And can't get the no deposit bonus, because of banned country :S
"Very nice poker room"

ok room, and I at last, after 5 days got my 19$ no deposit bonus....

rating may rise if the 19 become more Smile - i have to give it a few days (who am I kidding - it will all be lost in an hr or so Smile )
Bandhi Monday, December 14, 2009
I played on this room for one hour and uninstalled it after

First reason: Spent my free 19$ bankroll
Second reason: I'm poor

I'd say that since this room is on Ipoker servers, it is really the same as Titan poker... It is really good, basic soft graphs, lots of players and tons of tourneys...

They don't have alot of interesting freerolls...

This poker room tells people that celebrities play at their rooms... I would like to know if it is true and why.

I give a 7/10

I will never play again on celebpoker

If you want to look away from the complication it brings sometimes in selecting a ring game table, one of the best features is their availaiblity of games in the 3 major currencies (USD, Euros and GBPounds). But once you get your selection cirtera right, this is a BIG advantage.

The players are mostly on the looser side, and there's enough volume to offer a very wide selection of active tables in ALL stakes.

Their 199$ no deposit bonus is certainly one of the bet offers online at the momenet, though the requirements for getting the second, third etc. installments are on the high side to be honest. But nonetheless, with the wide range of tables, it's easy enough to find a few tables that earn you quite a nice number of points.

CelebPoker is certainly one of the better sites in the iPoker network, which is growing by the day, so more and more players are becoming your apponents to lure into your traps Blink

The sites offers a more than average nuber and kind of promotions, running constantly or for a short term. No problem for anyone there in finding a promotion you like ! And the "rewards shop" is certainly something to look at, since the "prices" asked for the items is rather on the low side, so there's something there for everyone, and it's all fairly "affordable". But the selection of items to choose from is no doubt one of the best I've ever found on a poker site, going from the usual items to tourney tickets and even cash, at rates that are very honest.

Anyone saying that CelebPoker is a poor site probably has had some bad experience in plying and wants to take it out on the site, because I really can't see ANYTHING wrong, on the contrary. This is one of the best sites around in my view (of course leaving the BIG sites like Full Tilt, Pokerstars etc. out of the picture). The only flaw I see (but that will change in time, I suspect) is the rather limited offer of really BIG tournaments.

Anyone who is looking for a new good site to play on in the "middle class" of poker sites cannot make a better choice that this one. And believe me, I've registered and actively played on litterally dozens and dozens of sites in the years I've been playing poker online. And I'm not an easy player to satisfy, that's for sure Blink

But when/if there's any kind of problem, just try their online or e-mail support. I have had GREAT experiences there too, and there's NOTHING they haven't solved for me QUICKLY and TO MY FULLEST SATISFACTION. That's very important too.

So folks, check it out, you won't be disappointed. And with the 199$ no deposit offer now, you really cannot go far wrong !

Paul.

Celeb poker is part of the well-known ipoker network. That means that there are always playes playing both cash games and tournaments at any hours of the day. For those that do not know ipoker software is reliable and easy to adjust playing even if you are used to better softwares. Its tournaments have a nice structure, most of them with 15minute blinds and also big guarantees.. Cash games are quite softer than the major poker rooms and multitabling has become easier with the new ''mini tables''. Their support is always online and accesible via live chat so you don't have to wait for replies through e-mails.
