Through out the night, the bids for Peter Eastgate's bracelet from WSOP Main Event 2008 have been pouring in.
It was a pleasantly surprised ex-world champion Peter Eastgate, who yesterday noted that bids on his WSOP bracelet had reached 75,100$ from a starting price of 16,000$.
- I am obviously pleasantly surprised that the price has reached such a high level, he said.
Now there is good reason for further joy - for both Eastgate and especially the humanitarian organization UNICEF, who he donates all the money too.
Bids have been coming in since Wednesday afternoon, when Eastgate announced the auction. 22 bids so far, and the price now stands at 125,100$. A bid that fell this morning.
In all, 41 different eBay users have shown interest in the bracelet. One of them should be the poker player and businessman Tony G, who has proclaimed that he will make the bracelet into a dog collar.
