Black C. / Qureshi A. U. H. - Hsieh S-W. / Nielsen F. League: Grand Slam Away 1.83
How singles matches are extremely hard today, I chose to start a game in the double-joint panel, where Hsieh and Nielsen ii Black and Qureshi will meet. The last 2 have defeated Mirza / Lindstedt in 2 sets, totally unexpected for me, considering that the Swede was clearly the most valuable player on the field. Awards mixed doubles are quite small, so very few focus on the race. However, Hsieh has always had notable performances in this competition. He was always motivated and in addition has an excellent return game. Along Petrova, Hantuchova and Huber, I find the few that successfully returns boys and services is able to cope at the net. I think this will make a difference.
