Feliciano Lopez vs Edouard Roger-Vasselin
Lopez to win 2:1 sets
The match looks pretty equal and for me the obvious final result should be decided in 3 sets. Lopez is number 35, Vasselin is 37. Despite his Spanish origin Lopez feel more comfortably on hard and grass thanks to his strong serve and good net play. Vasselin is also stronger on hard courts but he prefer to play from the base line.

Tomas Berdych to win against Federer, odds on Federer too little, he played well against Djokovic but Tomas is a good player and he is on form and just lost in a final last ATP tournament, he will be back with a grudge and I can see him winning the final against the ageing Federer. Any odds over evens is good!!
Also Thomaz Bellucci to win against Federico Del Bonis he, has a double later on this evening, and if he plays a long match, you can go for his double team to lose whereas Bellucci is coming strong and I have him outright for this tournament.

Tommy Haas vs Paolo Lorenzi
Haas wisn 2-0 @ 1.
I will not be intimidated by the fact Lorenzi won with Monaco and ruined my month (a part), but not also about the fact that Haas also lost the match. Lorenzi has been for so long a challenger level player and he always be. He is outside the top 100. Haas is a solid player and lost a set with Zeballos which is much better than Lorenbzi right now in terms of form and force.

Paolo Lorenzi vs Federico Del Bonis
Lorenzi
Lorenzi to win as he is underestimated here from the bookies, he is in excellent form and managed to beat Monaco and was leading before Haas retired. He will be well rested and full with confidence. Del Bonis will be very confident as well but he might be tired after very difficult match vs Belucci and that fact considering that H 2 H is in favour of the Italian

Johanna Larsson vs Vera Dushevina
Dushevina wins @ 2.34
Vera Dushevina is desperate for a win. She is a player that losses constantly on the qualification round on any kind of tournament, rarely going deeply in a tournament. She is having good results on hard court, but on big events like this one always fails to deliver.

First round of Indian Well has Karolina Anna Schmiedlova (73) up against Yanina Wickmayer (56).
Schmiedlova has been in poor form but has started to look a bit better over the past few weeks. She put up a great fight against Niculescu at Florianopolis losing 6-0 4-6 6-2 and was quite strong in qualifying here beating Arruabarrena-Vecino 6-3 6-4 and Kichenok 6-4 6-4.
