Ban him. He was given enough time to make a response and when he eventually showed his mug, after 2 days (bareing in mind that he used to post every 5 minutes here for a long time), he spewed some bs about not knowing about the accusations and then actually asked to be banned.

Lets be honest here, he was over helpful which was manufactured in a way to obtain peoples trust. What could he possibly be after on a NDB website? to scam what little money the players here have? Low Life scum.

ooorrrff with his head.

I think what has wound peplle up here is the fact that he was macking out that he was saying how good a poker player he is:

And then we find out that he is no better than the reast of us.

Just sad Sad Sad

snanky got a 14 day ban for trying to beg $5 but at least he had the balls to come back on the site as soon as his ban was over. And as faw as I know has not beg again.

So maybe we tourt him a lessan.

I believe we should calm down when the subject is to acuse someone, if there aren't concret proves, which aparently aren't, so, lets all just let Administration take care of this business. They are aware, they are paying attention and no one from other members is going to get prejudiced so, nothing to worry about. Lets play instead!

I guess he ''scammed'' us all a bit with the storys bout playing for a living and being a pro playing NL200/NL400 and every sunday the big $250 buyinn.
We all believed the storys, we all liked his articles, great help great info.

Now we all know he is a big scammer, no need to show his face here anymore, if he does people laugh in his face so i am sure he never shows his face here anymore.

True he ''only'' did lie bout being a ''pro'', but look at his past, big big scammer, now he continues at 2+2 and other forums, sad storys hospital, ect...
I am sure he was gonna scam somebody in here sooner or later.

I really think that BRM have to make a statement about this, wot more prove do you need? Cmon...

i prefer beeing safe to beeing sorry. and a notorious scammer has as much place in a pokerforum as a drugdealer on a schoolyard imo.

ok CONS

1. what will it do to remove him from the community. by doing this your only shoving him to another forum/site to set up again.

2. ok so the dude is a scammer but as admin said theres still not 100% proof

3.He did have some good advice on certain stuff

PRO's

1. hes a scumbag and has lied

2. cant be trusted

3. he wont be able to do it here EVER and

4. since he hasnt returned to defend himself thus shows guilt of the highest order, the posts he made after the event in no way shape or form denied or admited anything

i believe this should be treat with caution. but yeah i agree in princiaple that he should be banned

yeah this is true i put word on 2+2 about the allegations and a few other forums hopefully it will sort the issues out,

what will it do? not very much but hopefully he will eventually grow some balls and face up to what he has done and we can all help him reform. there is good in everyone if you look hard enough

Which reasons are there for NOT banning him?

There is no 100% proof he is a scammer and he is Pieter B.?
Yes there is 100% proof and yes he is Pieter B!!!

He did not harm too BRM?
Yes he did, look at all the threads!!

doomdy, ok i havent kept full track of the entire events but lets say i know nothing at all show me the 100% proof.

2. re threads ok so how many threads can you find that affect you personally?

in this day and age the internet is so dangerous and everyone should take extreme care i have made many 'online friends' these people and no offence to anyone are just that when im offline i get on with my life i go about my business go be with my family and friends and dont think twice about online friends becuase thay are practically virtuall friends, i have met ppl whom are now my 'friends' who were only 'internet friends' before, but thats becuase i know know them personally some have been to my house eaten dinner with my family but the 'internet friends' are people who actually i dont know i chat with ect but untill i meet them there is no trust ect,

ok im rambling a little i guess my point is you have heard the saying ' leave youe emotional baggage at the door?

kinda like the internet dude leave your trust at home. SOME people boost themselfs on the internet
to make them feel important or to gain 'popularity' for whatever reason and some people use the internet to scam its all part of life. banning someone for being accused of scamming is not going to bother them in the slightest BUT leave them in the community eventually when they have woke up from their dream they MAY just regret what they have done.

im rambling again sorry

Well just take 1/2 hours and google ''flangel'', ''circadux'' and ''Pieter Borremans'' and read all and u got many many proof, many is in dutch so difficult for you but believe me its unreal wot u find.....

''Threads affect me personally''? None why? Dont get u.....

''Leave your emotional baggage at the door''? Dont get u either? I am emotional involved in this? Hmmm guess not, all i say its a scammer and imo BRM can make a statement in this ----> ban, we dont want scammers!

To be brutally honest i always thought Flangel was up himself, never liked him. So it doesn't surprise me one bit that he's been [allegedly] found out as a scammer.

The best players don't go around bigging themselves up, and they don't hang around no deposit bankroll sites [no offense to BRM, it's a great site for the poor player like me Big Smile - but if you're really great, then you already hav a huge Bank roll right? ]

if he was innocent, he'd just laugh it off and say "don't be silly, I've done nothing wrong" and he'd have answers for all the Q's put to him. he doesn't and hasn't. There's no place for scammers and/or liars on friendly forums, we're all trying to make a bit of cash and have fun. Taking advantage of people's ambitions is just not on.

Bigbet should dump him and take their stake back too.

We have made up our mind about the whole "ban" or "not ban" situation. More info will follow tomorrow - and some threads might be removed once we have announced the decision.
