I dont like any religion! In my opinion its f****in´stupid! But when it people help to live their lives...and they respect other religions; why not?! But the christians are not better then the islam or what ever..
Have a look at this! And then tell me, the christians are better!

islam is a peaceful religion, and teaches its followers to do the rightful things. of course there are fanatics that misinterpret some of the teachings, but a small precentage of the muslim people that kill and do wrongfull things, should not make you have a certain judgement on a whole religion and the people that follow that certain religion. there are lots of christians and other followers of other religions that kill, put women down, ect. but just because a small percentage does such things, doesn't mean everyone that follows the religion does the same or agrees/justifies with their actions.
not trying to get anyone to like islam as a religion, but just trying to speak against people that have prejudice views on islam.
i think lots of people are very uninformed about islam, and instead of putting the religion and its people down,they should study more about the religion and why people that follow the religion do the things they do.

Before saying anything about Islam let me just remind You that Hitler claimed he was Christian but was he really?. George W. Bush is Methodist. Do I love Islam, hard to say that I love it because if that were the case I would probably convert to it. Do I have something against them, no I don`t. I have couple of friends that are Muslims and from what I see they are more into faith then most of the Christians I know. Those I know don`t force their wives to wear burqua or something like that. Most of the stories people hear on TV or Internet are just propaganda nothing more, well this goes to Muslims in Croatia. In Bosnia situation changed slightly because Islam fundamentalist have gained power during the recent war.
Oh, almost forgot, Muslims don`t differ that much from western, Christian, civilizations. They also use banks to promote their way of living. Islamic banks don`t charge fees and interest rates when they borrow money, they do cover themselves in different ways, and only requirement is that money is used in accordance with religion. If you borrow money from them to build shopping mall, in that mall is not allowed to sell any pork or alcohol, have people gambling, etc.

I'm not a terrorist nut, I have no delusions about all followers of islam being violent or anything. My serious issue with Islam is womens rights and I wouldn't back down to any PC argument about religious toleration either.
That said, organised religion in general get's a big thumbs down from me

in all do respect, the christian religion has been very oppressive to their women as well, untill just fairly recently with the women rights movement. yes some muslim people and countries are still behind in women rights. but lets not act like christianity has always upheld their women ect.
and most developed muslim countries and modern muslims have a lotof rights and respect for the women. again its the small group of fundamentalist that oppress their women and is affecting the views that people have on the muslim people.
im not even trying to argue with you, just giving my two cents on the subject.

Exactly. Its all about individuals in every religion. I for example am Satanist and we respect women more than any other religion.
