just busted out of a $5.00 $27000 prize pool tourny on pokerstars...I cashed cause of a moron that over played his AK( ITS NOT A PAIR..HAHAHA) blinds $500/$1000 with $100 ante i think... My position is one after the gun!! Gun folds, i have AA and i limp... I have 22k left.... it folded around to one of the short stacks(just under 6k) He pushes(this is what i want.... )Here is where it gets stupid... this moron beside him decides to push he has 35k and $100 invested in this pot... Of course i snap call.... j89 7 2.... So the short stack moron shoves with j7 and the other moron shoves with 89...... This bugs me for three reasons
1: Why sit there for 3 hours and shove with shitty hands such as these?
2: Any moron can figure out I have a monster when I have 20 or so blinds left and i limp in early positon..(if i had an average hand and wanted to steal i would just push)
3: Why does this happen on a regular basis and the pokersite rewards these idiotic plays?

I see that you let both of them in to the pot ... by limping you show weakness (in my opinion) rather than strengh. If you had raised then would they have been in the pot??? You might have only stolen the blinds but you would still be in the tourny. I find that when i try to trick / decive / trap players it can go sooooooo very wrong, also i find that if im letting people into pots for free or very little they play worse hands against me and when they get lucky then it is I who pay the price As they are playing worse hands its very hard to put them on anything aswell. Not good for tourny play (as im sure you know you need to get reads on players defo near the mid to late stages) It may be a little harsh but you cant blame them if you could have avoided it.

Yup the way I see it is the SS thought he could steal the pot with his AI as you showed weakness and definitely not strength, the big stack fancied the gamble and pushed to get you out of the pot, not hoping you had a monster and would call.

I have to agree. U can not limp aces at that time of the tourney. It's better to let em fold and win the blinds than get ur aces cracked and get out of the tourney

Don't blame the poker site, blame your play. Gonna get beat either way, or just win blinds, but don't blame the poker site. The poker site has no sides here, they don't care who wins.
Unless it is YOU, then all poker sites, make sure you play a quality hand crappy and get beat by worse. What planet do you play poker on? deucescracked?
Play more poker and get over the bad beats, and great plays spoiled by the wicked, unlucky river god.

Yep, exactly. this way you're called by AQ, AK, KK, QQ etc.. Much better with AA than being called by J10 etc. Because at least with 89s, JT, etc you have two live cards. If you shove or 4bet etc with AA you'll get called by other A's and such and be less live cards against you.

you asked for problems by limping your AA , you wanted to take the risk and to gamble by limping so in the end you got what you asked for because you invited everyone at the table into the game !!!
