GL in starting a new poker site these days ... poker isnt as popular as it was a few years ago, just face it. The field is crowded with sponsored poker players these days , soon it will be poker sites VS poker sites out in the field.
Posted by JoeJeavons: I didn't even know he played on-line tbh. He's a good player, but he hasn't got the best of reputations, especially after he tretened to take friedmans head of after 'ante gate' @ wsop lolz
----------------- Yes, I saw it on TV too. He was quite pissed off and did say he would take his head off. As for sponsorship, that is pretty impressive to win like that so I don't know why he hasn't been approached yet. If he wants to start his own poker site he has def. got some competition. I'll give him his props tho as being a good player
The problem is that he doesn't play hold'em or doesn't win any bracelet in hold'em. Con you like it or not but sponsors pay only if they are sure to have a big return. It's the same difference between soccer and marathon:sponsors have no doubt.
