The only site I have deposited at was Cake, that was for $25. I made my own deposit so I could get rakeback/deposit bonus. At Mansion I got the NDB for $50 and built up enough $$ and points so I can deposit the profit in $50 increments to neteller. Then I'll take that and use it for another first time deposit on another site with rakeback to try and keep building a bankroll

So I really have to make the most of any free money bankrolls I get. I have around six poker sites with money in them 3 of which are free money bankrolls, so I have to grind away and try to build these up. The good thing is its helping me with bankroll management as I cant afford to play tourneys or cash games not suitable for my bankroll the bad thing is its hard to grind and make money so slowly. But as I love poker its better than not playing at all. If i get a job soon i will probably put around 10 euro a week into my main site until i reach the 100 euro mark as this will make it possible to play 5c 10c cash tables comfortable. The great thing about poker is it dosent have to be a expensive hobby so anybody can play and enjoy it without loosing a fortune (unless they are stupid) even a bad player can loose all the time but not go broke all he has to do is play at the small stakes. And even playing with small bankrolls like 20 euro you can win big eg when i started poker i put 20 euro in paddy power poker and after a year i built it up to about 100 euro and then had 3 nice wins in mtt $5 tourneys and got to take out $1,400. Anyway back to grinding and hope to win big soon and this time when i win make more use of it.
$0 to start with then after a week i like the site or i played good in the freerolls i might make the min deposit rec. otherwise i deposit $10 weekly on pokerstars and haven fun

I´ve deposited somthing like 150€ my own money, and 460€ nodeposited gifts.... i still have my own moneys in entraction- 20€ but spent all my freeruns.... I like more livegames, and in those one im +750€. Not much but enough for me. I hate microstakes holdem.
I normally shuffle the money between accounts at different sites, but as for using my own money, I have yet to deposit from my own personal cash as my bankroll is quite healthy.

I had a time i was just like you, without a job and looking forward for oportunities to play without spending my own (thats right, thats how i found BRM, thank God for that) and, even if the games werent running as well as i would like, it turned out to become a great experience time for me and for my way of playing, because now i am playing a lot better, and finally i am at the turnover level, just like international economy! My global poker balance is now becoming near zero, and althought now i have a job and am playing a lot less, i believe in the next three months i will be able to come here and say my portuguese real acount has finally tasted the flavour of money won with poker!

I have never deposited my own money, started with a free bankroll on titan and with $100 won in a private freeroll on Luckyacepoker in about ten months turned them into about $1000 (the ones on luckyace with the help of roulette) and withdrawed. then I made 2 or three deposits with those money, for a total amount of $100. so my vote is for Zero even if I am sometimes a depositor
First of all I want to wish you to find a good job in very short time, not only for a man has an uncontested rigth to work for himself but also because you have a family with children and I know exactly what it means ( I've two children too). Bankrolls apart, the only deposit I made was to Titan Poker, after cashing out 5.000 mob points-
I have never put my own money for poker, because there is so many option to get free deposit on poker platform. Just play not for to big stakes and with some time everyone can win some money.

I in the last two years have placed about 200 u $ s, equivalent to 2 or $ sa week, I try to play many freerolls do not have to be deposited. surely no customer will be elected in the year ha!
Interesting to read some of the above comments.... I actually have never deposited online & am currently building a pretty steady bankrol, although a pretty volatile one lol. I do however, play with my own money live, ofcourse lol. I think im alot stronger live than online & benefit from the many weak players who just want to gamble at 10-20NL & really don't understand the game too well. I've ahad a couple of nice runs (aswell as terrible ones!), but the most memorable great run was about 4 or 5 months ago, playing late on a friday night on a table with a couple of drunks lol... bought in for the minimum & cashed out at 5 buy ins, which actually took me a couple of hours of just chipping away & then finally hitting a huge pot at 2 in the morning in which i rivered a full house holding queens & the fella caught his AKs flush
