first deposit bonus/ and jewel the live support  0
Hi, first things first, how do the first deposit bonus clear? I have heard 1) automatically for every $1.2 dollar raked it $1 will be deposited back into your account. 2) you use points to exchange for them?

How does that work? Apparently jewel, on live support, said that you can exchange 2 dollars for every 2000 points? that cannot be the case because 6000 points clears 500usd bonus. can someone please help me with this?

And, who else have any problems communicating with support. I agree they are helpful but this particular one really doesnt know anything. she does not seem to have an answer to any of my questions such regarding bonuses, referring friends, even deposit questions.

As u play u collect 2 different kinds of points vip points or comp points of which u need a total of 6000 to clear ur 500$ bonus and rewards points which are used to cash ur bonus 2000 rewards points are 2$ just go to theyr website and click on bigbet rewards in the lower left corner and log in then u can see how many points u already got and turn them in to cash

hope this helps a litle gl at the tables Blink

ok thanks but i have another question.

it says 2000 points to claim 2 dollars. but we are generating 250 points per dollar rake. that means 2000 points = 8 dollars rake.
hence, rake back is only 25%. and someone said its 83.33percent????

according to laura, u get 750 reward points per dollar raked on the first deposit bonus.

so thats 75 percent rakeback. which does not equal 1/1.2=83.33%.

anyone?

Confused Confused Confused Confused

For what I know you get 1 point per $0.10 raked. So that means you need to rake $600 to get 500. (6000 points).
I have not clue about how you get the $500 Bonus. Should be 240 points per $20 dollars. That gives you a 83.33% rakeback.

John or another user who is clearing the first deposit bonus (I can't remmember his name) could help you more.

Everybody relax.

for every 1.20 dolalr raked, you get 1 dolalr back. This is easy, that means that YOU get 1000 rewardpoints for every 1.20 dolalr rakes ( 12 VIP points ) Its that easy. IF you play for example 1 day and get a total ammount of 120 VIPPOINTS ( 12 dollar in rake) You get 10.000 Rewardpoints ( 10 dollar back ).

So you get 83.33 % rakeback, its that simple.

Well its not quite like as it seems. According to both Laura and Vendetta on live support, users on first time deposit bonus, myself included, gets 750 reward points per $1 raked. This was confirmed by the both of them.

Since every 1000 reward points is equivalent to $1, you need to rake $4 to clear $3 of bonus, which is equivalent to 75% rb.

Then when I further questioned Laura on this issue, she said the information on the website was outdated and needs to be updated.

Im hoping John can come out and clarify this issue as I'm sure many of us have signed up for BBP after promises from BBP and John himself. I mean 75% is still pretty damn good but I'm a firm believer that if you promise something you should deliver and we're clearly not getting the 83.3% that was promised.

Anyone else here has had a similar experience? I find it strange that no one has picked up on this.

Cool I think, Jewel must be very pretty and open... Tongue
Or must have other qualities to be qualified for the job, poker and BBP knowledge for sure are not the criteria... Big Smile Evil Evil

Well personally I feel that its pretty telling that John has been pretty selective in responding to threads. Will probably move my funds out of BBP, as should most people if they feel that they cannot trust certain sites. The whole set up at BBP has proven to be very much unprofessional and amateur at times. Table selective is horrible and the software mediocre. Support has no clue as well, making the whole playing experience all the more appalling. Would not recommend to my friends for sure.

Instead of complaining about it, what you CAN do is go to live support and sort it out. If live support is - according to you, crap- then ask for JOHN in live support and bring the issues to him.

BBP can't always send people to moniter these forums 24/7. THey have a business to run and if there are issues, people usually email or bring it to live support, not the other way round.

You might not know this but to actually have a BBP rep here is actually better than what most sites are doing. And to have Live support 20 out of 24 hours a day is also better than what other sites are doing.

In terms of John being selective when responding, if there are any problems, he answers most of it but he might have missed a few (no one is perfect)

Merge network has small traffic but its growing (pokerscout). Hardly any point in table selection when any table you join, most of the players on the tables are pretty crap. As for software, LOL i guess you've never tried other softwares from other networks. I have accounts on most of the major softwares listed on pokerscout and i can tell you merge software is atleast above average.

If you find the software bad then just email them on what they can improve. Merge software is updated constantly. I find having auto-topup and resizable tables a set up from most other rooms (hello ipoker).

If you don't like BBP handles things then not really forcing you to stay. But the way you bring this up doesn't do anyone any good.

If you've actually read the entire thread, you'll find that I've contacted live support numerously times and none of them has been able to clarify the issues I've raised.

Secondly, regarding Bigbetpoker monitoring this forum, I think you're being naive. Since John is assigned to the forums, its part of his job scope, a job which he is PAID to do. Therefore he ought to see to any enquiries that we have, if he doesnt then he's not doing his job properly. So I see no reason why he has not responded.

Thirdly, to follow up on the previous point, if you look through the forum John definitely do not respond to everybody, which brings me to suspect he's avoiding issues that he finds harder to tackle. I'm sure he has read this thread before so John if you're reading this, I'd love to hear what you have to say regarding the 1st deposit bonus issue I've brought up a few posts before.

Last of all, bringing issues up on the forum allows for a open platform for BBP to clarify themselves and everyone will benefit from it, hence the reason for the existence of forums. So run along and mind your own business instead of being condescending and telling people on the forum what they should or should not post, especially when you clearly have no idea what issue I was on about.

Admittedly I've mentioned things that may have been unnecessary out of frustration.. Table selection and software, that much I can live with. However, I've raised valid concerns regarding the 1st deposit bonus and possibly MISLEADING information both from JOHN and on the BBP website, to which I'm still awaiting a response from ANY representative from BBP to come up and clarify.

So instead of questioning whether or not I did anyone any good, take a long hard look at your post and ask yourself if it did anyone good by coming along to give a lecture.

First of all, when i refer asking live support. I ment you ask for John in the live support. He is the manager of BBP, not the normal live support staff. You'll get redirected if hes there and will be able to help you more than Vendetta or Laura.

Secondly, Bigbetpoker rep that monitors this forum is also John (same person). BBP isn't the perfect poker room, yes there are flaws. You might not understand but if you run a poker room with that many players (espeically from BRM), you tend to be busy with many issues and there are lots of other forums he looks after too. If you think Johns avoiding issues, I guess its a matter of personal opinion but i think he just simply missed this. BBP staff is usually active in about 3-4 hours from now since its nighttime where they are so patience.

Lastly, its true issues should be in brought to the open but all you're doing is being negative which in your last post you did it out of frustration, its understandable seeing as if I were in your spot i would too be pissed off. However all im suggesting is be a bit more positive, poker rooms like BBP is pretty genuine about helping you.

About the first deposit bonus. I'll just give you a little on what i had to deal with because at the time when i deposited $500 usd on Bigbetpoker for their first deposit bonus, i encountered major problems and it took a couple of weeks to sort out and needless to say i was pretty #$%^ed off the way they handled things.

After slowly sorting things out, it turns out not all the live support was fully informed about how the first deposit bonus worked (i got to know pretty much all the names of the entire staff on bbp at this time, probably 20 conversations lol). Initially they only gave me 250 reward points per dollar raked for the first deposit bonus which worked out to be 25% rakeback when i calculated (i was very annoyed at this time). But it was soon corrected, and they added the missed reward points too.

So far i've they have given me the correct reward points corresponding to the first deposit bonus. I've cleared the whole bonus and couple of days ago i asked for John on the live support whom Laura redirected me to and john put me on 30% rakeback.

Thats just my part so i understand what you're going through but I look back and really regretted how i acted initally to their staff which wasnt very nice of me. I'm just saying John will def reply thats all, just give it a little time. if he hasn't replied and totally ignored you for let say a week (doubt it though, i have faith in BBP) then issues will be more serious.

If i did offend you then i'll be the first to apologies, might i just suggest have a bit more patience and be a bit more positive.

so after they corrected how many points per dollar were you given? 750? how many percent rb is that? do your math. my point is that the first deposit bonus is not 83.3% AS ADVERTISED. but whatever, its still great.

Hi Guys,

I normally monitor all the threads currently running on BRM but I don't always have time to find them or reply to all of them. As Doomsday informed you, I'm not just a 'rep' I'm actually Head of Poker for BigBet so I don't always have time and I certainly won't dodge the 'tricky' questions.

We are currently in the process of changing the 1st deposit bonus and there were some changes made to accomodate this which went live before they should have which resulted in the misleading info you were getting. My support staff were taking the info directly from the system (as they always do) in order to give you the exact information.

The rewards level was changed to the equivilant of 75% from 83% but we will honor this for all players who missed out on points due to this. Please contact us on Live Support to do this for you.

Do feel free to contact me via Live Support with issues and if I'm free I will try and resolve things for you.

Cheers,
John

From the BBP site: Once you have earned the full amount of the 100% sign-up bonus you will be moved to our rewards point program. You will earn points for every dollar raked at Big Bet Poker. You will receive a daily upload of “Redeemable Rewards Points” added to your account for the previous days rake.

1000 rewards points = $1 in redeemable cash

To further reward loyalty we will move you up through the rewards program based on your lifetime points earned balance.

Bronze – 50 points for $1 rake (0 – 25,000 lifetime points)
Silver - 100 points for $1 rake (25,001 – 100,000 lifetime points)
Gold – 150 points for $1 rake (100,001 and beyond lifetime points)

Does this status has any connection with my current bronze/silver/gold stars?
