on what basis does the forum points gets counted though? and how short is actually considered short? sometimes the points just dont seems to go through

hi.you should know that not everything in here gets points . some polls for example get 5 points some get 0 points. so you better read the link admin gave you

I took the liberty to close the poll as it's "wrong". It's not a problem, it's completely on purpose that sometimes you don't get points and sometimes you do. Plus, there's a maximum on how many points you can get within a day, and your posts will have to be a certain length too.
Basically we don't like people posting for points. We want people to post because they enjoy it - and that's what we pay points for.

Posting here is a privilaage and fun too. Not all of us do it for points Some of us actually enjoy the thoughts , points and jokes of other poster. IMO if ur poisting just for points, then you are basically using all BRM'ers and I personally think u stink
