Phillip "Phil" Ivey was born in Riverside, California February 1, 1976. When he was only 3 months old he and his family moved across the country to Roselle, New Jersey. Phil's grandpa taught him to play poker when he was just a kid, Phil then crafted his game playing skills amongst his co-workers at a New Brunswick, New Jersey telemarketing firm in the late 90's.

Jerome or Phil makes no difference. The only champion at final table this year. He's back, not a lot chips but his poker skill is absolutely over average. I think he will play pushing and pushing to double up immediately: all or nothing

Jerome or Phil doesn't really matter, how his name is... the guy is already a poker legend... go Ivey... unfortunately he doesnt have a great amount of chips, but hopefully he does double up... that would be so much cooler and interesting to watch
lol, reminds me of when I had my fake ID. My friends and I thought it was the greatest to be able to buy alcohol and go sit in a bar and hit on older woman. My name wasn't Jerome and never thought about sneeking into a casino. Well, I can't wait to see how Phil (Jerome) and Jeff do.

That's a funny story..I heard it before but didn't hear the part about Ivey missing the bus. I guess he must have been tired. I would have continued playing or do something else until morning bus, isn't everything in Vegas open 24 hrs?
