Who does sometimes play for playmoney and is not ashamed to say?
Since I found out I loose more then win when I am tired and/or drinking, I started playmoney games again. NL HE, 50.000 or more SnG , any game up to FR Badugi, love that game!
Anyway, seem to do a lot better there then with cash, lol

I play sometimes too, especially after a loosing session with real money. No shame in that I love to play the game and sometimes I feel the need to play without the stress and possibility of losing my money. But when you win, the victory tastes way much better

First time I ever played poker, was (of course) playmoney, on the swedish client Svs. Haven't played playmoney since, but maybe I should try it again, and see if I feel the difference? But I remember, I was dead scared of just sitting down at the table "What if they think I'm a total moron..." and such things went through my head. Today, I know they think I'm a total moron, and it doesn't bother me...

True, it takes some time picking the right table, lately at the 100/200 potlimit I find some "serious" players, and the 200.000 / 6 SnG can be tough to crack

I only play playmoney tables when either practicing a new game or trying out different betting lines otherwise playmoney tables is a little like non-alcoholic beer.

Nah i don't play with play money. The players are terribad, and its play money.. Gives me no incentive to play whatsoever. Except sometimes to learn new games. But then i prefer to play free rolls than play money.
When I join a poker room and want to get familiar with the software, I will usually go to the play money and check out the different setttings and options. Usually want to see how the multi tabling works, look around the lobby and play with all the filters.
Man play money is so awesome when im tilting on the real money tables, defintley takes me out of the game & lets me take out my frustrations by going super aggro & wreckless while i calm down after taking a really bad beat esp when i really want to carry on playing lol Yesterday i had my aces cracked to a 4 flush by queens, then had a full house cracked by straight flush.... straight off to the playmoney, all in with 83, 62, then 94! Somehow it just feels liberating to find the worst possible starting hand & go all in with it

i play with playmoney sometimes.. when really bored or first trying out their poker software.. treat it as "training" for the better or learning the game rules..

I never used to untill i decided not to deposit again on fulltitl ran my account down to $0 again then found out you could enter freerolls with upto $40 prize money. Only thing is you need to build up 500K to enter... thats not easy (well not very easy) Sp i'll be playing for play so to speak for a little while and you never know i might be able to freeroll my bankroll there. Hears to hoping

I used to play on FTP.ORG (play money site) all the time, before I ever played for real online. And i must say, in response to someone calling it a shove fest, if you play in the "high stakes" play money games, you get some decent games happening. Honestly better than most of what I see up to NL25 on most sites for real $.
Since I played for real money I don't think I've ever played with play money again. but I do sometimes just play for points (player points earned from rake) to win more points. Also sometimes play freerolls. But never play money anymore.
But I see it as no more pointless than playing World of Warcraft or Counterstrike or something - I find play money poker more enjoyable. So if you're not into betting money, I see no shame in playing play money poker, if you enjoy it.

Far far far away i can remember i did some playmoney on Everest, then i did realmoney freeroll shastas, got fed up with these and did deposit, no playmoney for me anymore.
