High Stakes: Dwan had to borrow money from Ilari Sahamies

The Swedish poker player, "Isildur1" keeps on winning big when he's playing against the American high stakes pro, Tom "durrrr" Dwan. It seems like "Isildur1"is very comfortable to play against one of the best high stakes players. When both of them were playing heads-up on Wednesday night and the Finnish poker pro Ilari Sahamies took a seat at their table, "Isildur1" instantly wrote in the chat tha[...]   Read more » High Stakes: Dwan had to borrow money from Ilari Sahamies

It's no surprise that Isuldur1 said he wanted to keep playing heads up, he is making serious money. But if they want to play heads up, they should play a 2 seat table. And Durrrr needs to stop playing against Isuldur1. Sure it would be considered weak, but who cares when you are losing millions?

Its standard, the pros borrow money from each other all the time, nothing special about it... Agree

No surprise Dwan had to borrow money ?
For me it's a big surprise to see this guy win so much money to oblige one of the most known online pro player to ask for borrow.

Its pretty obvious isildur knows tom's play like a book...He's probably been railing him a long time and when he got the $ to play him he took the chance, but i'm almost 90% sure isildur will bust after losing it all back to dwan and all the other pro's. Dwan will change he's game and it will go downhill from there for isildur so enjoy this show while it lasts

BRM ftw

losing is 1 thing, but knowing to quit is another..
when its time to quit but don't and carry on losing isnt a good move..

Wow Isildur1 is playing good solid poker! Never though he would have another profit session heads up against durrr Smile

Got to know when to stop. If you have to borrow 500k from a friend, then you know you are having a bad day. Especially chasing and trying to win back what you lost, not a good combo. I wonder what the FT team is thinking about now after signing him on?

I will also borrow money soon. Aww crap!

if that pic is true of the screen shot is true no wonder why the swede is winning hes cheating cause he can see dwans hole cards, if he can see the other players cards then, hes cheating with that software he can beat any body.
Wonder if any 1 at full tilt has seen that pic, of if any 1 has told durr of that pic?

Wow, so they did a $500,000 transfer or something? I thought there was a cap on transfers.

Dwan, Dwan, Dwan...did you forget your million dollars at home again?

Uf.. Durrr has to stop playing vs Isildur1. Maybe he´s a better player but millions $ down its too much.

Oh, can someone transfer 500000$ to me too? XD.

Dwan's style is generally hyper aggressive with any 2 cards. It's bound to happen that his bankroll will have huge swings. If his swings continue, sooner or later other players are going to stop funding his play.

This can't only be a swing. The unkown sweeden has durrr dominated. He propably knows how to play against durrr better than what we think. I read in other forum that durrr has lost already more than 3 million dollars in these few days.

Durrr's ego must be on the floor, and his bankroll too.
About the picture: I think is pretty obvious that it isn't true. Why would he show that????. I really think is just a nice publicity campaign to the software in the picture.

Gl!

I certainly wouldn't be lending durrrr too much money at this point in time. Theres a fair chance that Ziggie won't be getting any of it back if this streak of durrrr's continues. That prediction of him going broke within a few years that Phil Helmuth's is looking promising. Shock
