I lost almost 1000$ this week.. Mainly due to bad beats. 3outers, 2outers even 1outers..
I have been going on losing streaks on other sites before but this is just CRAZY!!!! My hands just can't hold up. I have lost over 20 times with Aces or Kings in the last few days.
I don't know what the f is going on! My bankroll is down to 800$.. Should probably take a break for a few days and hope that my luck changes..
But it just feels like someone is determined that I don't win anymore.. Has anyone had losing streaks like this? Any advice for me??

Yes I've had several downswings one worse than the other. Sadly this is totally normal in poker and yes when you are hit by negative variance it feels like someone pushed a go broke mobster button. My best advice would be to take a couple off days off poker. Play happy and win play play negative and lose....you pick 1

--------- Damn, that is one hell of a hit to a bankroll. What stakes are you playing that you take a hit like that in a week? Def. slow down and take a break. Or if you play on another poker room go play elsewhere, sit at a low stake table and just play to have fun if you don't want to take a break from playing. Then go back and see if your luck changes. I know the feeling on those 3,2,1 outers, it sucks but it happens. Good luck

Well, having the same right now for a week, sometin like $1,000 down, its my biggest downswing ever. Luckily i have a pretty heallthy bankroll so its a small part off it but still its pretty bad when so many flips flip at the wrong side Anayway i am convident my luck will turn and Misses Variance givs me sometin back So for me, i just keep on playing cos it doesnt affect my poker.
Ouch! Thats pretty bad but i can tell you we've all been hit by variance before and in the past its crushed my bankroll (esp when i carried on playing on tilt & refused to move to lower stakes ) Ive learnt the trick is to avoid tilt & move down stakes as soon as you start feeling frustrated, or even stop playing, take a break & do something else for a couple of hours/days & then when you start, again begin from a lower stake, so that when the variance does hit you, you dont end up tilting off more than another 60% of your BR!! Btw, are you using a HUD?
80/20 is not a flip? GL guys, I know what it feels like and it's not always easy to deal with, esp. when it doesn't seem to end, and u lose every fkkn time with ak/aq vs. acrap/agarbage.

Hi
Wow... 1000$ in a week...in what limits you play? variance strikes hard sometimes. You play SSS or BSS? In SSS variance is much higher. Hope you can get up soon

1k wow. For what you say is more than half of your bankroll. You should go 1 level down if you don't want to bankrupt. I would recommend that you keep pllaying if you think this down has not modified your game. The only way to beat variance is playing more and more making always the rights decision.

Thats more than 50% of your entire bankroll, its definitely not just variance, imo.

If you lost more than half of your bankroll its most likely variance + bad play (spew). prehaps you should move down a limit or 2 and start winning from there again before you move up. I still play nl10 from time to time even though my bankroll is over 1k. Makes it easier for me to move down when i hit a downswing. Don't let ego get in the way of playing your A game in poker. Let it go and move down a limit

maybe try playing on a bit lower limits to get back on your playing style, probably take some days off. after bad beats come good times, can't be bad all time.
