lol, I just voted in a poll to quick and it didn't count. I usually vote then post in the thread, this time I read the poll, voted and before I could write a post, a display came up saying that I voted to quick and to read the thread. What's funny is I voted in another poll to make a 10 - 15 sec. rule and it looks like it works. Does anyone know what the time limit was set too?

It's currently set to 15 seconds. But you're given the option to vote again - just make sure you don't do so within the 15 seconds or you will have to do it again etc.

It sort of matches your avatar in a strange kind of way. Isn't that pretty much what Ralph (isn't that his name?) would have done?

I don't know anything about a time limit, but if you read the rules about such transactions you may have better understanding. I've voted in polls before that were not counted. Some polls don't count! - Also, there's a certain amount of posts you can make per day that will actually count....5 I think. Anyway, hope this helps.

admin is posting a time limit so that it would filter those who didnt read the question or poll is about and click without thinking.. there isnt much polls daily to hop around so it doesnt make much difference..
Often happens my votes not to be counted. I knew there is a time minimum before to vote but sometimes, even if I respect it, doesn't count. I always thought it dependes on pc I use when I'm at work ( as now ).

I'm not a fan of this new system. I just tried to vote in a yes/no poll that I knew what I was going to vote instantly. It told me I voted too quickly so I posted a comment thinking that would use up the time. but I tried to vote straight after posting and it still wouldn't let me. I think the time starts again if you refresh the page. I'd already read all the posts so I was left waiting for nothing.
I tend to vote in polls after reading the second page or returning to the poll after thinking about my answer so imo this new rule punishes those who are more cautious voters so it gets a big from me.

Agree with awood88. I voted "yes" for the change when it came up but didn't know it would be like this. Takes at least 1 min to write a post, then I try to vote and get the message that I'm voting too fast. Please fix?
