I honestly prefer Rugby over Aussie Rules Football, because I played rugby through highschool. I also like Lacrosse (yeah, pretty unpopular sport) because it's basically Hockey, but a little faster, and more difficult.

Fact is we're all brainwashed from childhood regarding which code of sport we follow, poker isnt sport, i dont give a flying f**k what people say it just isnt, pokers like chess, you dont need to be smart to be a success at it, you just need to follow the rules and never break them, if you do break them, even if you win you lose, because it means you'll break them again, simple, disipline is the key.
Rugby is not my bag so I don't really care that much. If you like a fast hard hitting game that requires alot of skill, then hockey is the sport of choice. Try not getting killed when u hit the ice.

its not rugby man, its nothing like rugby, ice hockeys pretty cool though ill admit, we dont play it in Australia though.
we have a canadian playing in the AFL, he started last year, hes the 1st Canadian to play our game, he's pretty good too.

Well, considering I'm Aussie and born and raised in SA, AFL is with ease the best sport on the planet.
I can't stand when anyone says its 'rugby' or whatever, and I'm quite disjointedness in the fact that the other two people in the thread are Collingwood/Port supporters.
