So I deposited my last $50 bucks at FullTilt poker after a loss of $100. I got a few decent hands, but lost way more than I won. Got down to about $40.
Then everything turned! I started winning, and before I knew it I had doubled up to over a $100. I've no idea why, and I got really happy as it nearly covered my losses the same day, but I kept on going and at the end I got to $250. All this happened in less than an hour, and I was really amazed.
I started at 0,02/0,04 multi-tabling. And then progressed to 0,10/0,25, the last bit I played at 0,25/0,50. All no-limit.
I guess I got too "cocky" at the end due to all my winnings in no-time, so I joined 5/10 with my $250. Not the best choice I've made, so I suffered a loss of $50-60 at the first hand. I instantly left, realising this was a bad idea.
So then I went back to multi-tabling, 0,25/0,50. Now everything went downhill, suffered more bad beats than ever before. I actually lost to four 8's two times with a straight. (And both time he sat with pocket 8's, what's the chance?:s). The downhill didn't get an end, and now here I am, with nothing but my points... enough to join a lil' tournament.
Oh well, guess it taught me a lesson though. Gotta stop while it's a good run.
Just my last word before I hit the hay! (Joined this site today actually, gonna try my luck at PartyPoker).

Biddle, welcome to the bankrollmob forum I´m sorry to hear about what just happened! Unfortunately these things occur very frequently. What I can suggest to you is to do some research on bankroll management. Good bankroll management tells us that we should climb limits very slowly, and of course, always according to our bankroll, so we don´t put at risk losing it all because of a badbeat or two.
I think for now you will be fine reading some articles about it.
Best of luck to you and once again, welcome to our forum!
(I´m sorry, I wrote so much more and more detailed, but an error occured and I had to write everything again. I didn´t, but the main thing is here; bankroll management.)

wow...that is some very sick luck first but as u said, u should have joined 5/10 NL holdem with only 250 ? Maybe u can play 5/10 omaha with 250 because there is much more luck there..
i know the allure of playing above your limits, because when you win it looks so good compared to your total bankroll, but with big upswings come big downswings. goodluck next time tho
