Why do you play Poker ? I think lot of people play poker as a hobby but some people play for the money. It is just a hobby for me. I like playing card games. What is oppinion guys ??

At the moment its a hobby but i want to build my bankroll and start making some money from it that i can take out weekly so i have adjusted the way im playing ............. hopefully i can achieve this and make a weekly income of around 4oo euro but its going to take time to achieve this goal ........ fair play to those who are doing it for a living as its tough .... but it would be nice too

just play 4 relax or then i not have to do seriously so i go take a seat at the table and start play and time goes much more faster and can win some money its just a real hobby

Anyone who starts playing poker with the sole intention of becoming rich is an idiot imo. Even if you're a natural it takes time to build to a professional standard. I don't think you can play poker if you don't enjoy it, at least not at first. Once you become good and start grinding things may change. I would like to make lots of money from poker, especially as being a student I'm pretty much broke most of the time, but I wouldn't play if I didn't love it. Having said that, the whole point of poker is to make money. That's where the rush comes from when you are a winning player so I think the answer should be pretty much both reasons.
Ps. If you're a losing player and you answered for the money you should definitely give up imo.

I play it because the game really entertains me, but would love to have the experience of withdraw some winnings one day. I have deposit some in some sites, and for two times i have had good money could have withdraw and be happy, but i never done it, and always regret myself because i ended up loosing it. Now, my main objectif in poker is to get a good win and withdraw it, just to say once i got money on poker and spent it madly!!!
I play for both, but more for a hobby. I like the game because it is a game of skill. Just like I like to play chess and other various games that require skill. Most of all, I like the challenges poker and the opponents bring. You never know what the board will bring but playing with strategy makes it fun for me.

It´s a nice hobby with this u can make money many of my friends go out at the weekend and make party and drinking for 50€ in clubs.I play poker with other friends drinking too but win the most times 20-50€ a night so i can go out on a other weekend and can make party with my winnings for nothing
A hobby definately, helps pass the time, any winnings are a bonus and the Bankroll continues to grow slowly. Playing tournaments and getting to the money helps, from there on open up a bit and push on in the hope of a windfall, but certainly glad of any extra cash that comes my way.

I am just playing for fun , but sometimes i dream to get some nice cash from it... to bad it's only a dream . When i am strating to gain some cash i always loose it with AA (70% cash i lost was with AA , when i get AA i am just begging to don't loose to much).
so i go take a seat at the table and start play and time goes much more faster and can win some 
money
