The NBC-thing will be played on thursday, and there I will have the chance to qualify for the finals which are held in Feb. Winner there gets a package including buy-in to the 2010 NBC Heads-Up Poker Championship.
So, tomorrow I will probably be playing freerolls. Perhaps I will make a small deposit to PokerStars but this time playing the cash-games I spoke about in the first post. Tournaments are fun, but it's a big risk.
------------ On my way home from work. Just realized there is a ton of pokerrooms out there who might have freerolls and decent bonuses. Feel free to share if you know of any good room that is not listed below.

But that wouldn't be from zero to hero.
True, but start with freerolls sounds like mission impossible
------------ I think its easier to start with a decent BR with 10cent givaways, just multi them 8 at a time and grind 1 week, i am sure u can build too $20 easily. When u have 420 u can start doin some bankrollmanagement and i wud do the $1 DoNs ''never down, only up''.

Do the freerolls on pokerstars they are mad ..... you win the first to satelite to the next round which pays think it has $2000 prize fund but second round only run Saturday and Sunday . first rounds run all day every day in different game types eg nlh, razz, omaha , stud .. only thing usually around 3 to 4 thousand in each
Good goal and would like to see it accomplished. Have you thought about adding option B+C ($100 + $100 = $200) and join a site with rakeback and earn a deposit bonus? This would give you a starting bankroll to work with. I am working on building a bankroll from $25 and it is actually taking longer than I thought. At the micros your bankroll will yo-yo at times "not" because of your bad play, but because of the bad play of the others and them getting lucky for runner runner or miracle 1 card out wins on the river. The rakeback and hitting your deposit bonus payouts will help offset some of these losses and keep you growing. I feel I have wasted quite a bit of time making something out of nothing and it actually makes you play more cautious because you don't have the roll to lose or make some calls that you normally would make.
By the way, Fulltilt does offer rakeback, since you can get the NDB for fulltilt that means you are able to get the rakeback offer which is by far better for long term. Just a suggestion and good luck.

If Chris Fergusson can make 10k starting out with freerolls, everyone can.
Whahahah true
Well, i am 100% sure i can do $0 too $100 with SNG givaways, 1 month must be doable.
Those giveaways are at PKR right? How do they work and is there a limit on max tables? Feels like they should be played pretty much AA / KK = Shove and fold the rest. So playing up to 25 tables should be doable as I would only need a few seconds to make a decision.
@ dude with shotgun-avatar >> Sounds like a good idea if I could spare 200$ at the moment. Unfortunatly that would have to wait a few weeks. Regarding rakeback, the other site I found (not sure I can name it) offered 33% rakeback deals along with the bankroll.
