Don't know how this damn quote-system works. But no, I've never read any poker book. Why would I? But I love that pokershow on MTV with the high stakers from Full Tilt. Dunno what the program is called tho, but they hand out some tips.

This is as wrong as it get's suprised to see shokaku post such BS.
Every pokerbook is worth it's price, imagine taking just 1 thing from the book and you use that in a spot 1 time every month you will earn that books price back ++ in no time, even if you didn't learn from the book it got you to evaluate your desicions.
There is indeed enough material on the net but it doesn't make buying books -EV.

If I remember correctly Patrick Antonius mentioned in an interview, that he has never read a book about poker. Im very lazy when it comes to learning and this interview didnt make it better But, well im beating the micros

Well, Shokaku is never posting B******t so i guess he meant sometin else, cos yeh its deffo not EV- Anyway for me buyinn books was EV- cos i only bought 1 crappy book which i read 1 minute then got bored cos was crap too me and never read it again, was only E10 sometin
