Is this a response to the 'do you believe in santa clause' thread? lol The god debate has come up here quite a few times, usually in threads started by Dunotra.
Funny enough when I was young my opinion of God and Father christmas/Santa was pretty much the same from the age of five. I was very sceptic that a fat man could fit down a tiny chimney and travel around the whole world in one night and that some old guy was watching everything I did and could grant my wishes yet chose not to. But in both cases I decided not to say anything out loud just in case either was real and I wouldn't get presents or I would go to hell respectively.
lol you guys are really farming polls for points.. whats the next question? "are you still a virgin?"? or "do you like taking an after-lunch nap?" i have nothing about creating polls, but the quality of these polls just reached a new lower-low...

To avoid discussions : I'm NOT "farming for points" by replying to this poll, since I have already posted more than 5 replies today, so I can't earn any more points today
But here's my 2 (Euro)cents :
I am wondering too. Are these poll subjects even reviewed by anyone at some point ? This is getting silly, and that is an ENORMOUS UNDERSTATEMENT Things like this don't have a place in a poker forum by any which way you look at it. This kind of polls should be blocked, banned, thrown out, burned, anything to stop people from "farming" (good choice of words that was, Danemitic).
Maybe the writers of the software can implement a couple of "automatic quality/relevance checks" so things like this can't even happen so easily. Why not have it check for the presence of the word "poker" in the text ? Or any other kind of checks like that, so at least the creators of polls and posts need to get A LITTLE more (not asking much, are we now ) creative.
Sure, this is a silly suggestion, but can it be ever be as silly as the thread/poll I'm writing it in ???
So PLEEEEEEEAAAAAAAAAAASSSSSEEEEEEEEEEE, STOP THIS KIND OF CHILDISHNESS !!! Let keep a certain quality standard, shall we !

Ye, i believe in God, I go in church every Sunday. Merry Christmas and do not only think about presents and poker winnings. There are far more imporant things to think about and spend ur money on.

You're obviously quite new to BRM so I won't be too harsh but we regular members here at BRM have no intention of creating a forum exclusively about poker. Off-topic threads are quite welcome so long as they are placed in off topic. You're also going to be pretty disappointed if you don't want any silliness in the forum. I drew the line at the Santa Claus thread but I'm not averse to some childish fun now and again. My objection to this thread was not the topic which I don't consider in any way childish but the fact that most of us regulars have already made our opinion on religion quite clear in several other threads. I also agree that there are too many polls asking too many unnecessary questions where the op seems to be more concerned about creating a poll than an interesting thread but I'm more than happy to see more polls if they provide us with something that we don't already know.
