The difference between a qualifier and winning  0
Played in the Cake 1k qualifier. I think some people forget that the top 7 move to the Saturday game and there is no extra points for having the most chips at the end of the qualifier.
Final table with chip leader having 115 k and 6 of us around 45k as an average and 2 guys with less then 10k, blinds are low, 300/600 ante was 50 I think. I would have sat out as the CL but this mental midget decides to push the table around. A player makes a 6x raise and CL goes all in and gets and immediate call so he has his 9 7 os against ACES and loses 41k now he is no longer the chip leader but in 2nd. 2 hands later he pulls the same stunt and this time his pocket dueces are facing pocket kings, now he has less then 30k and 3rd from the bottom with chips. The very next freaking hand one of the low chips goes all in preflop and Mr Moron not only calls but goes all in and gets a call from a 3rd player.
Short has kings
Mr Moron has AK
and 3rd caller as ACES

3rd caller takes them both out and we have our final 7 and the other short stack who was now down to less then 5k gets in.

Some one typed in the room ....what fkn dumass....lol..I certainly could not argue.

Big Smile

(I was just gonna make the smiley, but it was too short, according to a message I got. So, now I'm writing this for no other purpose than getting the smiley in to this thread.)

I'm really wondering what the point of this thread is. EVERYONE( except perhaps the Mr. Moron) will agree with the stupidity shown by this player. But why post something like this ? What are you trying to achive ? Get a bunch of reactions saying YES, You're right. What else IS there to say ????

Heck, I don't know why I took the time reading this. I was expecting something with content value, but this is just page filling.
Next time, if you want to post something like this, PLEASE do it in a personal blog, far away from any forum.

Sorry, but that's just my opinion. Waste of time. I must however admit that you know how to choose your titles very well, I'll give you that. I LOOKED interesting, but my disappointment was so much the greater Confused

lol i was in similar situation the other day on PKR. Playing a qualifier, top 7 went through, we got down to final 8 and one guy was disconnected with short stack, only 2 people had less chips than the disconnected guy. Basically if everyone folded and BB always got their BB back then Mr.Disconnect would have lost, but of course big stack kept making moves, lukily for two smaller stacks, they doubled up and now everyone had a big enough stack to not lose to Mr.Disconnect. When it was my BB i got AA, big stack shoved and I folded showing AA as he had me well covered and I was 100% going to win just by folding, as I was coming 2nd in chips. Anyway, eventually guy coming 3rd shoved Ak, called by bigstack on 7 8 and big stack hit the 7 on the river and sent the other guy out and allowed the disconnected guy to win a ticket to the next stage. (btw, guy had obv disconnceted late in game, had not been d/c the whole tourney, or would not have made final table)

Anyway, whole table couldnt believe the idiot play by guy with AK, total EGO play, and I know for me it was hard to lay down, AA. but i didnt want chips, I wanted the prize. Made me smile so much to see AK get smashed and the disconnect guy was on more round of blinds away from being out lol
