I don't pay the bills will poker yet, Although I hope to get to that point sometime soon. I would like to think that that is the aspirations of anyone who takes poker seriously to eventually cut the strings of holding down a 9-5 job and make playing poker your career

Online I win just enough to buy Christmas-presents and fireworks for Newyears-eve. In live-poker (housegames) I do better, it pays my vacations and once a 2-week pokertrip to Vegas
Even with 175.000 members here, I am gald to see that very little people voted "yes" on this poll, otherwhise I would have to come to the conclusion that I am a member of a good site, but full of liars.
It soooo fashionable for (mostly) young people (and mostly guys) to proclaim themselves as "poker pro". But making a living on poker alone would need a very good bankroll to start with, and/or a tremendously high level of skill. I honestly think most of us aren't quite ready for that yet.
Heck, I probably wouldn't even say in a forum I was a poker pro, unless I was know as one because I was linked to or part of a site's poker team. Otherwise, when you're really making a living of playing poker online, why bragg over it ? You would just make others know they'll have to avoid you and better not play against you, so good luck if you want to shout it from the rooftops if you really ARE playing for a living. You're number of contestants would probably drop in a second.
Anyhow... we all HOPE to become a (semi-)pro I guess, but for most of uss, due to various circumstances, we are far from becoming one in reality. But we can keep on hoping, right
