Hi!!

I think no. Be a Pro in poker needs a time that i dont have. I´m happy to win some dollars for some little thing, no need more.

Bye and aces for all!!

I think if I ever became pro, poker would turn to be a very boring thing. I mean, once I start doing it for work I guess it would lose all its appeal...

I hope so. I don't really have to go pro, but make a few bucks playing would be lovely ..

Naaah. I don't even wan't to be a pro. It feels kinda sucky and lonely (if you play on the net). There's a lot of funnier jobs, I think, and I got one of them. But for recreation, playing when you feel like it, and it's fun, poker is great. Especially when you make a small profit out of a hobby.

Turning it into a job just feels... sad. But that's just me. There is of course a lot of people for who it's perfect.

I dont think i would become a pro and even if i started to think i could i dont think i would.

I think i would start hating playing poker would rather just earn a little extra on top of my wages

Let's wait and see. I was going well until last week, having a profit near $20-$30 a day, I was also spotting a move up. But a terrible downswing ... Damn extreme super lucky any2ers, second pair on the river is hell.

I don't think that I am going to be a pro player, because i don't have the time for it, playing poker just as hobby and preferably some additional income source. Blink

Thumbs Up same thinking Pjot, actually nothing to add or delete here.

i love poker, especially in a round with friends without money or for a few bucks, but i cant imagine to make a professional living out of it - every single day cards cards cards Shock ? (sure...sometimes i play for hours but then agian i dont play for weeks or even months).
just a hobby - if i make some profit cool, if i lose....well thats one of my hobbys ive choosen, as long as i can go happy to bed its all good.
nothing better then a varied job imo...(note: my opinion Smile )

No I won't ever be a pro for sure. I don't have enough time to study, to play live ( I think is essential ) and I don't feel like to spend 16 hours per day playing poker Blink
I consider this amazing game as an hobby Blink

If I can find it, I'll post a copy of a brilliant article about taking up poker as a pro...

I can promise you, one read of it, and no one would ever want to be a pro..

I would like to become a pro but I'm not sure if in my case it's possible... Sad Currently I spend more and more time on playing poker, reading books, going through live coaching offered by poker communities, etc. My bankroll grows but because the stakes I play at are low it grows slowly... I simply hate my current job but it won't be easy for me to earn enough to grow the bankroll, secure the swings and withdraw some "decent" amount every month to pay the bills... Well, we'll see... Smile

Ofc i will be pro... when every Pro or semi-pro in the world will dissapear and people will be to scared to try to be pro because of that.
Then i will come and show them.
