I reccomend the smaller ones, you certnily have a better chance of cahing in in 3 tournaments, than in one, pure numbers, but that is yours desizin to make,me...I would go for 3 smaller ones.....good luck at the tournaments....

Posted by LaBaiz: I think go for the main event. Making the correct decisions there, could be very profitably if you make it to the cash. Good luck either way.
+1
Much more risky, but maybe you will concentrate better on this one making you avoid mistake and bad play and make you win some nice cash.

3 smaller ones, and if you clean up in any of them, you'll easily be able to afford a direct buy-in for the main event. but they are all gonna be massive field MTTs, especially the main event, that's still a pretty low buy-in and I think the $$ guarantee is gonna attract many many thousands of entrants.. My point being that in these massive field games, you need a bit of luck, because even if you get your chips in ahead every time, just one bad beat can knock you out.. So i think it'd be better to spread your chances so if you get donked in a couple of them then maybe in at least one you'll get the luck on your side. Playing main event only is severely lowing your chances of hitting cash and MTTs payouts are super top heavy, so you really need to go very well, not just be ITM, a good placing on final table of a smaller one will far out weigh just being itm on the main event.
All depends on how much risk you want to take, how "greedy" you are, and how good you deem yourself to be. Logically speaking, and I see most people agree, you should go for 3 tourneys. The saying "never bet one one horse" has much meaning in it
Maybe you can have the luck you need to get a good rank in the one big tourney, but for thesame money you get one seirous bad beat and you're out of any chances to collect. Choosing the other option at least gives you 3 chances to win a number of dollars, and if you are lucky, you can even cash in in all 3 of them, and then I think your financial outcome would be about thseame.
Mind you : going for the main event ONLY has one additional disadvantage : you would be putting yourself up against a lot more real pro players than you would by playing 3 smaller tourneys. Think about that !
So do a decent mind-search and before deciding, try to find out the REAL underlying reason(s) as to WHY you would make that particular decision.

We all know how cruel luck can be!Ide take the 3 smaller ones at least u hav better odds of making the money.Alot of the bigger tourneys have more experienced and patient players, not 2 many free bankrollers or donks r gonna put their cash on the line for the bigger tourneys. But hey if u think u have a GOOD shot at the money WTF u only live once and if u take it out u hav pretty good braggn rights

I voted for 3 smaller ones as this lets you spreed the odds that you can not get knocked out in one bad beat and then have nothing. At least you have a bigger chance of getting some thing rather than nothing. Its good bankroll management isnt it..lol good point management.

i would say try the 3 smaller ones , you will have more odds to win some $ but on the other hand if you go for the big one and you would play yourself in the bubbles than the reward can be much bigger also .

As tourneys imply a lot of variance i would try to play all three. i dont know the seize of these tourneys as i dont play on ftp but i imagine that those smaller ones allready pay out well if you finish top20.

maybe try 3 smaller because is 3 chance to win not only 1 . if play in big one incorect move and u out of trying too win some cash . if 3 smaller its in one out 2 have and try again i allways try play smaller tours because there goes a lot off donkeys and with clever hand u can get so much points on going top to claim the winner post so good luck all at the tables
