call or fold  +3
SNG 5$ on Poker770, it is early in the tournament so I do not have much info on the players.
Here is the situation, Blinds are 30-60:

SB: 1370
BB: 5125
UTG1: 1410
UTG2: 975
M1: 600
M2: 1790
Hero: 2300
Button: 1430

UTG1 Fold, UTG2 Fold, M1 Fold, M2 raise 240, Hero call, BT Fold, SB all in 1370, BB fold, M2 Fold.

Since SB reraised all in, I think he has JJ+ or AK.
I have A10

I called it and got 2 A on the flop and won the hand. However I think I made a mistake here.
Should I have flolded this and keep playing with my still good 2000 chips?
What do you think?

of course you should have fold, you got very lucky he didnt hold AA or AK, maybe he only had JJ/QQ/KK and your move is more a suckout than anything else.
And the fact that you had already 2000+ make the fold decision much more easy, no point on taking such high risks on that hand so early in the tournament.

Fold, but good post Thumbs Up this is how you get better Smile

If you fold you still got 2060 chips with blinds 30-60 so plenty to play with. With that stack/blinds there is no reason to call of such a big part of your stack.

You can make a raise or reraise with AT, you can even go allin with AT when blinds are gettin bigger, but to call an allin is too risky.

Yeah it's a 50/50 at best where we actually got the short end of the race.

Nice hit though Smile

I think the better move on this case is Fold. But depends of the agressivity of the player who raised.
Good Reads are superimportant in this case. Blink

Hang on lets get this right..

You thought he had AK or JJ

So you called with A 10..

lets see if you can spot the glaringly obvious stupidity in calling.

yep fold

easy fold. even if you think they are bluffing you cannot call with A10. Even against KQ you're not in brilliant shape. It's nearly always better to fold and wait for better opportunities. AQ would be more difficult or JJ, then a call is debatable but A10 is fold every time.

fold'em

no question, fold, no way to risk so many chips this early and with a mediocre hand at best. But I can't count the times I lost for saying WTH and going in Aww crap!

This early in the tourney you definately should have folded. you would have had plenty of chances to make a stack later on, for sure. But here, and this early, you were taking a big risk, especially since you were already good on target with your stacksize.

think, think and think again next time Blink

I think that this was an easy fold, as in SnG's if someone has raised all in A10 is a pretty middle hand to play your entire stack one. Blink
