mate, I've had issues Shokaku's posts for a looong time. I actually get a slightly sick feeling in my stomach when I see he's replied to something. IMO all his posts are arrogant, condescending & negative. He is better suited to the d-heads that post at 2+2 which incidentally is where I assume he's picked up his bad habits.

I'm not saying he is wrong in most of what he says, he's normally pretty spot on. But I feel yes he is arrogant and brings down vibes of threads with it. You ever read 2+2 ?? Man makes you scared to post there for all the flames you gonna get. I mean, if you post something completely retarded here, you'll get flamed. But mostly it's a friendly forum.. Shokakus posts remind me of 2+2 and the total "poker hero" posts there. Just my opinion.
TBH: I much prefer to read the trolling posts of dunotra, or the self-depreciating posts of Fejset (sp??) or whatever his name is always posting about losing, or when you and Flangel had your Liv vs Liz war ( i voted your way btw, liv ain't got nothing on that) they just more fun & friendly posts..

Yeh i know the 2+2, i dont have an account there but sometimes ill check there some sections. And true its more flameble there, but thats also cos there many pros there. Shokaku is (imo) allways helpfull and has good poker-knowledge, i kinda think he makes nice money but dont want to tell (just my opinion ) Anyway i dont see him as arrogant at all
Speaking off Flangel..... Offcourse its a good thing he is gone, kill the cheaters, but at the other side he had great poker knowlegde, luv to hear every story off him and wish it was true. He did bring some light too the BRM community imo.

Im glad im not alone with this opinion and that someone had the balls to speak their mind but at the same time I don't want to sink to his level with personal attacks besides I think you know my opinion. This one is also a bit unusual because he is normally a steady regular with solid post's and good ABC-poker knowledge, he has just shown a bad side of him self the last couple of days. You are right some of his hostile post's are similar to 2+2'ers but I doubt he is on there cause if he was he would be better informed. Btw.....The hostile post's on 2+2 are not written by pro's but by forum trolls who just learned to beat NL25 that now wants to triumph and step on players who are 6 months behind them in their poker devolopment instead of remembering how nice it was for them 6 months ago when better players helped analyzing their HH's so they could improve. These people are low life scum and should be ignored imo.

I busted Flangel in a couple of lies in some his first post's here on BRM so I never believed a word that came from him. I also had some discussions with him in some analyze threads where he showed me that his pokerknowledge was not as big as his mouth. When the discussion in one of the analyze threads got intense I noticed his english suddenly changed from slang'ish to 100% perfect British english both spelling and grammar wise. So I googled the subject we were dicussing, believing a guy like him probably just googled the subject took first result on the list Copy/Pasted to BRM and now thought he would look like a genius. My presumption was right, every time he said something clever it was C and P from first result on google
That's not how I play, so I started to study the guy and found out he was banned from several forums and staking sites due to spam on forums and receiving money by stakers but not entering the tours he was staked for.
Running parallel to my Sherlock Holmes investigation he got famous on BRM with almost veteran Hero star status and I really wanted to shout out but with the status he got and my limited proof I would just look like a jealous retard trying bring him down so I did nothing but wait for him to get busted.
I was away from BRM a couple of months and when I came back he was gone and everybody hated him, so im actually pretty curious how did he get busted and what was he busted in ? Perhaps you can tell me

Well, to sum it a littl up its sometin like this:
Pretty soon i did get his email addres and i added him on msn, we talked about poker blablabla and he soon told me his money was stuck at ''Ultimate Bet'', not sure it was ultimate but that doesnt affect the story He asked me if a player Vs player transfer was possible at PKR, i told him it wasnt possible (he didnt asked me money....), he asked me at my funds at neteller, i told him it was frozen (which was true at that time) and again he didnt ask me for money. After that he told me about his site, same as BRM but then Flangels version, i saw it and it was pretty nice, he offered me to be moderator or sometin as i wud get some % off the profit ect, told him i didnt have the time so wasnt intrested ect.... But after all this i felt a littl.... how i say this.... suspicious? Money stuck at Ultimate? He played 16 hours a day but still had plenty off time to speak with me all day on msn ectectect.... So i put him on ignore on msn cos i was like ''hmmmmm wot is this?'' After some while he had great threads here on BRM and so i did reply and it was nice talk, he sounded like he really did know the poker world and it was kinda intrested too me, so i was just listening and responding.......
Anyway, after some time, there was a guy on this forum (think he was polish), that told on BRM forum Flangel was a big scam, scamming many people in Belgium with poker/Iphones and other stuff. I did some research on the net and yeh the name Flangel/PieterB/Circadux had a big list off scam behind his name. So also with my own experience with him i was ''hmmm wtf, is it true??''. Anyway i told on BRM forum sometin like ''Ok Flangel i giv you 1 week to reply on this polish guy, if he doesnt i reply to it just puttin down my own experiences with him'', Flangel did reply 1 or 2 time basicly saying all was crap and people wanted to giv him a bad name, after that we never saw him again...... After that, i reply my own experiences with Flangel on this forum basicly the same story i am tellin you.......
So is/was Flangel a scammer?, yeh i thing so, though he never scammed me, he never asked me directly for money so cant judge him directly on that

Ok doomdy thanks for the story. It was good he never got to scam anyone here I think he was pretty bright though and could probably beat(or learn to) alot of games if he wanted but probably found the easy scam money too attractive.
