Before, we were getting 10 points per vote, and now only 5. I wonder... Could it be that people like you are the main responsibles ??? More and more insane and useless polls (LIKE YOURS HERE !) are getting placed, which means that in consequence more and more people were voting just for the 10 points for voting. But votes on an insane poll are just as insane as the poll itself (I didn't even check an option in this one myself, the h.ll with the points), and the more WAISTED votes, the more WAISTED POINTS are given away.
I think people who PLACE interesting polls should be rewarded, and I really wonder why they aren't right now But placing a poll like yours should on the contrary be punished by taking points away from the writer !!!
I think too many polls ( doesn't matter if craps or not ) have pushed Fat Tony to take this decision: a brutal cut of 50% As for me I will keep on writing and ( sometimes ) to edit polls.

Average poll was sometin like 100 people voting? Thats 100 X 10 points = 1,000 points = $10 for every poll created. So every poll cost BRM $10, thats very big dont ya think? Now its ''only'' $5 costs for BRM for every poll created, imo be happy you get voting points cos its all free moey from BRM

I belive, that if this senseless polling keeps up, there will soon be no points at all for voting. (I ain't saying I'm better than anybody else, I've been voting in most of them, but maybe that's something to think about, before creating them.)

If there were no points for voting I would still vote, I just do it for fun. At first I didnt even know points were given and I dont expect to reach 5000 points before 2011 anyway

This was my first, and probably last poll.
Goal achieved, the last option having more than 50% of the votes only shows how seriuos people take the polls. And I saw people blaming crap polls like mine, this one can be crap, OK. But at least this crappy poll had a goal, and it was to open some people eyes about it, because I agree with the ones who say that maybe soon there will be no more points for voting.
But many people came here, saw the optinos and thought: "Oh, that last one looks fun, who cares about the other boring ones, 5 points".
I agree with the change in poll voting points. I was beginning to wonder when something was going to be done to change the current trend. Maybe even limiting the number of polls that a BRM member can create per day or even per week would of been a solution. But this will do for now, I hope the quality of polls go up.
