Posted by LaBaiz: I think that tom dwan had a good year, was some great losses but he came back from them and ended this year with profit. Awesome player.
This guy is a really strange player with big ups and downs..

I went with isildur. "Influential" in this case can also be understood like "influential, but in a bad way". I think he doesn't do the poker world much justice, 1st donking off like crazy, and then whining beacuse his opponent used what he regards as a failsafe cheating device (ie, a hand DB)

To me it was Tom Dwan! Just look at the turn he managed to do against Antonius, its something that lots of players and poker analysts considered very unlikely to happen, but it did! Each day he is becoming more and more extraordinary, even an example to me. Of course i will never manage to play the stakes he does, but i can say that i follow his way of play and i believe it can make my poker skills turn better!
Although it's fairly obvious that Isildur1 had created a kind of hype around his person, his real influence hasn't been that big, but I think Joe Cada has shown something VERY important :
even the youngest player can win a big tournament, provided he has the passion, the patience and the will to learn constantly.
