No need for it to be a big public affair, same goes for Tiger, they are sport satrs and should be only in the news for what they do in thier field, the did not do it for fame. The only PPL IMO who should be in the papers for such things are those who enter the likes of reality TV programs or sell thier lives etc to mags/papers for $£ they are fair game. But bit of advice PI, lose all your money to a well trusted friend, then win it back after the settlement.

Phil Ivey is called by many the Tiger Woods of poker, now I can see another reason why. But the media goes all to Tiger Woods divorce, poker not as popular as that boring sport where people hit bals with expensive clubs.
Generally poker and Marriage do not mix. It takes a very open and level headed person to be able to accept the trials of a poker life such as extreme bankroll swings, long streches apart, temptation, etc, etc.
I agree with psycokiller, poker is absolutelly uncompatible with marriage at all. I have a friend who is poker professional player and last september he divorced. Why? The same reasons, I suppose ... not a fixed salary, working at night, at home everytime in front of computer ... It's very difficult to understand

It's always sad to hear about things like that... but like people say poker and married don't like each other. Girls don't like when man sit in front of computer even if he gain cash from it to be honest.
