in lower limits there are alot of players who min reraise you. And i newer know what to do. U maby open upp from mp with some medium hand like AJ and sb min reraises. Now normaly if i get 3bet with that hand i just lay it down, but minreraise i just dont know what to thynk :Þ

A min raise is a poor play, as it give good odds to call. One should have a look at the player. Some minraise with a monster to keep the opponent in the hand. Others minraise with a wide range to "buy" the initiative.

In position with a deep stack this is an easy call.

IMO a min raise is normall a bad player sayin hey iv got a hand.
Depending on what you hold you might be worth playing on to give him a kick up the ass.
Hands like AJ if iv missed id be folding.

I hate min-raise, when i see a player min-raise in most cases they are losing players, min-raising is crap. When u got a hand reraise the min-raisers.

For me Min-raise make generally no sense (since your raise is useless, only thing is that it get the pot bigger... and its not really interesting when you dont know the flop).

Only one time for me where it make sens : when u are in a Tournament (mostly MTT's, sometime in sng's too), when blinds are really big and you are getting closer from bubble and you are in last position: people plays more tighter so the might easily call and you get a good reward (blinds and ante !) for a little investment. It works on final tables too (people dont wanna get busted so near of the 1st place, so they play tight !)

Depending of the player. For me, a min-raise is a lazy person who don't want to think quantity to raise and decide to push the button besides de "Call" button. But in some cases is a very good player with a very good hand (AA, KK) who wants to try luck against him in a very tricky action.

That's is true whwn the min-raiser is the open raiser, but here he's talking about about a 3bet min-raise, with almost all the time at lower limits means AA-KK-QQ.

I think if you have implied odds (both stacks are deep or 100 BB) you should call to see the flop. It's not a mistake to do it.

I hate min raisers. If I get min raised while in the blinds or button, I'll call reguardless of whatever two cards I have in hopes to flop something like two pair or some sort of ridiculous "s**t hand" that I would normally fold to a real raise or would have folded if it wasn't min raised to me in the first place. If the op min raised with a big PP and I hit I enjoy it even more by typing in the chat box how stupid he was for giving me such great pot odds and thank them for the extra money and to keep min raising Evil

It really depends on the player and you should call those once in a while with just about anything, he's giving you a good price (not for staying in the hand and drawing, but for staying in the hand and knowing how he plays! That's why I say you should call him once with anything just to see what hands he plays like that)
Some will minraise with a hand and go bananas if you reraise them
Some will minraise with a draw and fold to resistance
Yet some others will minraise with crap in a poor attempt to steal...

Yeah thats good min raising is something ive been doing on and of to get more action at tight tables it works lovely on FTP cash tables as they are mostly quite tight.
Other players dont quite know what to do when you keep min raising, It is a great way to semi bluff, you can have an improving hand and as long as the other player (presuming there is only one other in the hand) doesnt bet big and you have possition ofcourse just min raise and they'll ever get very defencive and check to you next time (if they call ) or they'll put you on a monster and you can make them lay down most exposed hands like over pairs or depending on the flop two pairs or even low straights or flushs. ofcourse they have to be a decent / tight player but if you look hard enough you can find them, hunt them down and expose them.
