Hi and a happy new year!
In germany, PartyPoker is just able to make her ads. for partypoker.net and not .com. So just for the playmoneytables.(In Tv and internet) Is it just that way in Germany or in other countries too?

i´m glad that there is the accepted grey-area of legality in germany as we dont need to pay taxes now for the bucks we earn with it.its this thing with the statecontract for gambling does not allow ads for moneygames - instead of lotto ( because the state earns taxes with this )

Yeh in Holland there is advertising on FullTilt, Party, Everest, Stars. Totally crazy, cos they want lows with online poker. Goverment is RIGGED for sure......
In Canada, all the major sites advertise, but have to put in a disclaimer in fine print that they are not a gambling site, and keep the advertizing to playing for free. Sometimes sucks being the Americans next door neighbour.

Posted by xxxbchxxx: Na i think im right in saying that they have relaxed the laws for advitising in the UK so we get ads for Pokerstars and Fulltilt
There are ads for poker on British TV all the time. Recently all I see is poker ads between late shows. But I see them advertising bingo for a long time on prime time tv so there are surely no restrictions on advertising gambling on TV.

i don't know whether poker ads are legal in my country or not. never seen them on tv, but i think thats because there are so many few players playing from my country that it won't be profitable.

I dont think there is ads in Belgium... I Dont think they like ads for gambling and money games... (Someone told me that soon pokerstars wouldn't be legal anymore in belgium... its okay if full tilt is still available )
